This tour is for the cruise travelers, who has limited time in Copenhagen, but still want a day out of the city. You will join the standard Full-Day, but you will not see all the 4 sites due to your ships arrival or departure. - - We recommend you to book your seat on the bus. - - Please look very carefully on the offered tours so you get the version that match you time in Copenhagen. There will be guided in English at; - Kronborg Castle - Roskilde Cathedral - And an intro at the Viking Ship Museum The visit to Frederiksborg Palace is self guided. The narrative strikes a balance, offering just enough facts without overwhelming you with years, kings, and wars, coupled with a touch of humor and fun. No need for cardio exercise on this day. 8000 steps is reached before the end of the day, while you walked up spiral staircases in medieval castles, cross cobblestone covered streets. Dress code for the day: do like the Danes says; There is no bad weather, just the wrong clothing!

Car/van ride from pickup to the city of Hillerod. This is non guided drive taking the traveler out of Copenhagen port a drive through the landscape of Zealand until arrival in Hillerod.
• 2-hour stop in Hillerød • Explore the incredible Frederiksborg Renaissance Palace at your own pace. • Lunch options available in Hillerød, whether at a local café or enjoying a sandwich from a local bakery while overlooking the lake surrounding Frederiksborg Palace.
Accompanied by the other travelers, which you joint in Hillerod after your walk around at Frederiksborg Palace and maybe the the town of Hillerod. The bus will take you on a drive through the scenic landscape of Zealand to the town of Roskilde.
• 50 minutes' drive to Roskilde Cathedral in Roskilde • Capture the charm of the Danish countryside during the journey.
A short drive through the some of Roskilde to the Viking Ship Museum.
• 1-hour visit to the Viking Museum • Explore the museum situated on the coast of Roskilde fjord, housing reconstructed Viking ships. In the summer period (April to September), there's a chance to witness a replicated Viking ship cruising on the bay.
• 50 minutes' drive back to Copenhagen • Enjoy the picturesque landscapes of the Danish countryside during the return journey.

Early departure - Pickup time can be arranged before 0915 CET. Late arrival - Pickup time can be arranged between 0900- 1030 CET. Please note that pickup is from any of the Cruise Terminals and the Langeline Cruise Pier only Pickup details will be sent 10-16 hours before the tour's scheduled start.. The excursion was excellent, we had plenty of time to take in the historical culture of each site. Our tour guide Sir Flemming was punctual in picking us up at our Hotel, Sir Flemming was extremely knowledgeable at every location giving us a great guided tour, Flemming was very professional making sure we were taken care of. Our tour guide Kenneth, was excellent. It wasnt just his historical knowledge but the depth and way he shared it made the tour more enjoyable. We moved at a comfortable pace and never felt hurried.

Might be better to do not if you are in a cruise ship but it did work any way Our tour guide i think his name was Brian was fantastic . Really he made the trip. Was fun Viking museum and a huge palace and interesting very very old church.. the only not great thing was the transportation. We git picked up late and there was miscommunication
It's great that your tour guide, actually Simon, was so great and really made the trip enjoyable. A knowledgeable and engaging guide can completely transform an experience. It's a shame that with the late pickup and miscommunication. That can definitely be frustrating, even when the rest of the day is wonderful. It just goes to show how much logistics can impact a trip, even when the main attractions and guide are top-notch.
Simon our guide was great! Wealth of knowledge and made info very interesting. Also helped with his archaeology background. Enjoyed all the stops which were the Royal church, Viking ship building and museum, kronborg palace and Fredriksborg Palace. Loved the small group of 10. Would highly recommend.

The tour was awesome. So a beautiful castle. The Vikings ships were pretty amazing with wood over 1000 years old. The chapel was amazing and very old and beautiful. I recommend the tour. Our tour guide was Rene and he was amazing and very knowledgeable and nice!!!
