Great experience just as described. Each employee was an expert on the area and its history, all we needed to do was ask! The boat guides were super helpful and very professional. Snorkels were provided (when we asked) for the four islands we visited and saw many fish, coral, and starfish. Our driver from and back to Panama City communicated very well and was patient (even though we prepared, the drive was very windy) during our journey. We were the best kind of exhausted when we returned. I highly recommend this tour!
The driver communicated very well when our hotels got location was incorrect & the tour guide said aware of us at all times ensuring we got the best experience possible!
Naidi was a wonderful guide. He is fluent in both English, Spanish and Portuguese. He made sure we were well informed and that everything went smoothly.
Travelers consistently describe the San Blas Islands as a breathtaking, untouched tropical paradise but warn that getting there and adjusting to the lack of modern infrastructure can be exhausting. Many reviews emphasize the stunning white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and authentic, off-the-grid island-hopping experience.
San Blas was the highlight of our trip to Panama! From the early 5:00 a.m. pickup in Panama City to the breathtaking drive through the mountains and lush jungle, the adventure began the moment we left the city. My wife and I had an amazing time exploring all four islands, with the Natural Pool being our favorite stop. The delicious hot lunch and refreshing Balboa beer made the experience even better. One of the most memorable parts of the tour was learning about the indigenous Guna people and gaining insight into their rich culture and traditions. If you're planning a trip to Panama, a visit to San Blas is an absolute must. Viator made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Their customer support team was easy to reach and very helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Highly recommended!
We had a good overall experience. The rate via Trip Advisor that we paid was well worth the experience. The visit to San Blas was about 5 hours but the commute was long. We were exhausted after a very long day, started at 5am and ended at 8pm due to traffic and some waiting at the end of the day. I liked learning about the Guna Yala; their community is beautiful and I appreciate how they worked hard and together to ensure that all went smoothly. They had to manage boat full of people, and it was a lot of boat loads coming to and from the mainland. Also, our driver worked hard driving us through traffic and was good with communication. This activity is for anyone who loves pristine nature and learning about different cultures. Also, if you’re picky about what water you will swim in, this will hit the mark. We had a great time and glad we got a chance to go.
The islands were worth the travel time. The water and beaches were amazing. It's about a 3 hour drive there and then an hour by boat each way. If you are tall or large the car will feel cramped and you may have a challenge getting in and out of the boat at each stop but they will help you.
Great experience and well worth the money. All islands and beaches were absolutely beautiful
Very good, I enjoyed our tour guide Nairi
