Day out to Galle[Stilt Fishing. Turtle watching.Cinnamon Farm]

Enjoyable day tour to Galle with a nice lunch opportunity in Galle. Nice stop at the stilt fishing spot, despite choosing to skip turtle hatchery could have still done with more time in Galle to walk the walks. Too much time was spent on the boat & vanilla tour.

Pradeep is a professional guide with a luxury car suitable for or 3 Clients. He is knowledgeable and able to share a lot of interesting information. Our 7 hour tour was interesting throughout and his willingness to add value was appreciated. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic day thanks to our amazing guide Pradeep. He was a sea of information and was happy to answer any questions and was adamant to give us a true experience of local life. This was the first time we booked our own excursion and will do that every time without a doubt.

My wife and I were really pleased with our experience. Pradeep (our guide and driver) picked us up at the port of Hambantota (we were on a cruise), and as we had requested we went to visit the city of Galle. Part of the journey was along an excellent (and underused divided highway) then smaller winding roads through interesting villages and small towns. Along the way we opted to visit a cinnamon farm which involved a boat ride to a nearby island. We saw how cinnamon is grown and processed. We also saw some huge monitor lizards at the waterside of the farm. We then proceeded to Galle (a popular surfers destination) and entered the old fort first established by the Portuguese, then the Dutch, and finally the British over a period of about 500 years. The fort area is huge and contains a whole community with various restaurants and hotels. We visited a very old Dutch Reformed church, which is still active. We ate at the Remparts Hotel restaurant overlooking the sea. Excellent food. We got back to our ship in good time. The people we met were wonderful. We were really blessed to have Pradeep as our guide. He speaks excellent English and is easy to understand. He is also very knowledgeable and personable. My wife and I can highly recommend Earth Lanka Day Tours. Indeed, we hope we can make another trip and see more of the country through this wonderful and reliable tour company. C & G Singapore

Pradeep was a fabulous guide. His communication before was spot on. Even the drive to Galle was filled with interesting info and birds and wildlife were pointed out to us. Everything was organised perfectly, we couldn’t have had a more perfect day. Highly recommend. Wish we had more time to do wildlife or Colombo tours with Pradeep.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day tour with Pradeep and his driver, starting at our cruise ship and going to Galle. As it was just us, Pradeep was very flexible with the itinerary. He has a good knowledge of the area and all of the sights to see. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and we had a tasty lunch at the chosen restaurant. Would happily recommend.

The tour was excellent. Our tour guide and driver kept us on schedule while allowing us to visit all the places as planned. Would highly recommend.

5 hour tour turned into 8.5 hours, arrived back at cruise ship 10 minutes before ship departure. Crazy. Unexpected lunch provided, which was good. More time preferred in Galle itself; too much time looking at poor turtles in tanks, expected nicer environment. Stilt fishermen ok, a bit too long. Very tiring and stressful,

Great Trip with Pradeep. We did the Galle trip from Hambantota with Pradeep who was a fantastic guide Very knowledgable about Sri Lanka and culture. Spoke perfect English and was able answer all questions and direct us to locations we wished to visit. None of the usual visits to agency stores etc. He also arranged a tour of Columbo , again this was great. I thoroughly recommend Pradeep and his tours. Thank you.
