Overall well done in terms of experience and the tour company. My tour was slightly shorter than 3 hours as we saw plenty of elephants all over. That’s most of the experience but there were spotted deer and buffalo. The buffalo were actually amazing and otherworldly. I like this trip because you’re pretty much likely to see what you came for (elephants). My only warning with this trip is really ask yourself if the travel is worth it. It’s going to be 8 hours of driving. Fortunately, I slept for most of it but if I had more than a weekend in Sri Lanka, I would have definitely stayed the night / tried to move piggy back that into more travels. So to summarize: Tour company: 5/5 Tour: 5/5 Driver: 5/5 Worth the 8 hour drive?: Subjective (know your opportunity costs)
