Andreas and Orlando were are guides and very knowledgeable and experienced. We caught lots of Sed Snapper, a Snook. And a Puffer Fish. Excellent day fishing.
The mangrove boat tour was my family's favorite activity during our week in Manuel Antonio. Our guide Alan was so friendly and knowledgeable and he helped everyone in our family of 14 (from ages 5 to 80) have a great time and see everything. The boat was comfortable and we got to see an amazing variety of birds and animals. (At several points we all noted how glad we were to not be kayaking.) The captain was also top-notch, steering us expertly to get the best views of each animal -- plus he amazingly spotted a tiny silky anteater from so far away! The white-faced monkeys were a highlight. The dinner afterward was very good.
We are so glad you had a positive experience with Tucanes Tours. Your support is invaluable to us. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
The guide Andres was amazing! We saw so much wildlife and caught a couple big Jack fish. Totally recommend!!!
We had a great time on the tour and saw so many kinds of animals and it was so relaxing on the boat. We were picked up from a hotel near our air bnb exactly when they had scheduled with us. Our guide Alejandro greeted us and spoke English and made us feel very welcomed. Rebecca was the driver and probably the safest one we’ve had on our whole trip. Alejandro was giving us information about the area, answered every question, got us drinks. Once on the boat the Captain was excellent with the boat, stopping and maneuvering to get the best angles on all the wildlife we encountered, and between him and Alejandro I don’t think we missed a single thing that wasn’t there to be seen. Everything we came across Alejandro gave us the names and information and even on other animals we had encountered on our own outside the tour. We finished up with a great supper at their restaurant, super fresh and delicious. Lastly they dropped us off and even stopped at a bank machine because we forgot cash and wanted to tip everyone because they were all so friendly and great to us. Thanks again!
Our guides Marlon and Andrea were outstanding. We didn't catch many fish but the experience of being out on the water and the beauty of Costa Rica was wonderful. Pura vida!
