Your Alpine expedition begins with an early morning pickup from your Vienna hotel. Meet your dedicated two-person team. Settle into your spacious vehicle and enjoy the long, picturesque drive through the Austrian countryside. Thanks to your professional driver, you can take a nap, sip your morning coffee, or learn about Alpine history from your expert guide without any stress.
Arrive at the base and board the spectacular Dachstein Panorama Gondola, ascending to nearly 3,000 meters (~10,000 ft). Welcome to the world of eternal ice! Here, you will experience the ultimate Alpine thrills: walk across the thrilling Suspension Bridge, step onto the "Stairway to Nothingness" for jaw-dropping photos over the abyss, and wander through the magical, carved Ice Palace. Your guide will be with you to take incredible photos of you against the majestic peaks.
After your high-altitude adventure, it’s time to warm up and refuel. We will stop at the panoramic glacier restaurant or a cozy Alpine tavern down in the valley. Enjoy hearty, traditional Austrian dishes while soaking in the majestic mountain views. (Lunch at your own expense).
