Meet your friendly tour guide from your Xian downtown hotel at 9:00 am to start the trip. Your will firstly visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Follow your tour guide and spend enough time to explore all three pits, especially in No. 1 Pit which is the largest and first opened to the public, there are columns of soldiers at the front, followed by war chariots at the back. Listen to your guide’s interesting narration of Qin Dynasty history and be amazed by the vivid life-size Terracotta figures. Later have lunch at a local nice restaurant. In the afternoon, the most flexible tour options available, please choose your preferred two more sites to continue the sightseeing, sites like 1. City Wall 2. Big Wild Goose Pagoda 3. Shaanxi History Museum 4. Bell & Drum Tower Square 5. Muslim Quarter 6. Great Mosque 7. Small Wild Goose Pagoda 8. Forest of Stone Steles Museum; or choose the one site of Han Yang Ling Museum. Afterwards, return to your hotel to conclude the trip.

Of course you want to go to see the Warriors. We enjoyed going to Hanyangling tomb even more since it was uncrowned and allowed our guide to better explain and discuss. This tour should have been lousy because it rained all day and traffic was horrible. But it was in fact excellent: a great experience and highly enjoyable tour. (Flexible and no shopping stop.) How so? It was all about our guide. She was the best. I wish I knew the secret to getting such a good guide, there aren’t many like her in the world. She goes by the name Grace. Good luck to you.
