The tour company was very professional. They contacted me the day before and checked in with me after. My guide Raja was friendly and knowledgeable. I felt totally comfortable as a woman traveling alone. I loved that he took me to the Nungwi school and gave me time to chat with the headmaster. He also taught me about the fisherman and how dows were built as we toured the bustling fish market. It was a wonderful learning experience.
