By this time, the morning queues have dwindled, and the afternoon temperature is more pleasant.

8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour. We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed). We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds). At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

We had a fantastic trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels and it was a real highlight of our time in Vietnam. The tunnels were fascinating, and the experience gave us a much deeper understanding of the history and the incredible conditions people endured there. He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history, and he did a wonderful job explaining everything and answering all our questions. Incredible experience, absolute must do in Saigon. We are a group of 6 20 year old Australians we went with our guide Hannah and had a blast. Very informative, very funny and would recommend as a must do experience for anyone young or old in Saigon.
Really interesting tour made all the more compelling by our guide Bunny. Her English is fabulous and she knows her history inside out.
