This was our most expensive shore trip by far. The guide was fantastic. Highly rated!! Nevertheless, we ended up paying over $1300 for 3 of us, plus entrance fees, plus taxi fares between attractions, plus $120 each to go on the bullet train, instead of the local train. Nevertheless, the guide made our day wonderful. He had excellent English (in fact, Australian English).

Michelle met us as agreed and spent the day putting up with us, showing us a bit of Kobe and then navigating the complexities of the train system for us.
