We begin our adventure near Puerto Caldera, where you will have the opportunity to see monkeys in their natural habitat. Watch them play, jump among the trees and explore their surroundings. A perfect start to your day in nature!
As we traverse the Tarcoles region, enjoy the stunning coastal landscape. This ecosystem is home to a great diversity of fauna, so we could have surprise sightings of other animals. This tour is ideal for nature and wildlife lovers looking for a unique experience on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
Then, we head to the famous Crocodile Man Tour, where we will sail along the Tarcoles River to watch crocodiles. During the tour, our guide will share fascinating facts about these prehistoric giants and other species in the area, such as birds and iguanas.

This was honestly an incredible experience. My tour was with Geovanna and she was so passionate about her country and wildlife and that made the tour so much more enjoyable. My guides went above and beyond and we got to also stop off and see some butterflies and went to an amazing gift shop (Great prices). We brought some of our own fruit when seeing the monkeys which was fun they do give you fruit - as we got loads of time to interact with them and they just climbed all over us my daughter absolutely loved this. The tour its self is so professional they picked us up from the hotel and it was genuinely luxurious (nice car which was so comfortable). This tour is so cheap for what you get I can’t believe how amazing it was

What an amazing tour with Ronald. Our first stop was some up close time with some cute White Face Monkeys. On the way to the Crocodile tour we stop to view some Macaws up in the trees. Ronald pulls out a spotting scope on a tripod so that we could get a up close view. Next stop was the Crocodile boat tour where we had some huge crocodile right next to the boat. When we returned from the crocodile boat tour Ronald had the spotting scope set up again this time on a group of Howler monkeys up in the tress. Our last stop was at this very nice Butterfly house. I would rightly recommend this tour. There was only 4 of us in a very nice van with great AC. Ronald did a wonderful job.
Amazing experience at a good price . A full day of fun and adventure with lots of animals. This is a great tour for anyone looking to see a variety of animals. We loved to see the animals in the wild and not cages. Having the monkeys come down from the trees for a treat was my favorite. I could spend an entire day with them. Our tour group was small so we never felt limited on time, or like we had “to wait our turn”. I would 💯 book this trip again. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. 💕🐒 🦜 🐊 🦋 💕
Perfect tour while in port for the day! We were a group of 4 withe the guide and a driver. The first stop was to feed monkeys, then we did some bird spotting, followed by a crocodile tour, then our final stop was the butterfly garden with a very large and nice gift shop. We saw so much wildlife which is what we wanted to do.
Great tour. - Only 4 in our group so it was almost a private tour. Our guides were very knowledgeable. We saw monkeys, birds, crocodiles and butterflies. My only complaint would be the insect bites I got while waiting for our boat tour. Bring insect repellent.
Being able to interact with the monkeys and overcame my fear was huge, thanks to our guide, Jeiro that insisted I not miss the experience!
