Create your original Art print

Description
The ancient art of engraving, which had its greatest splendor and diffusion in Venice, will have no more secrets! For those who want a unique experience in the ancient world of craftsmanship, I organize individual courses (one or at most two people) to explain and put into practice the basic techniques of engraving. Participants will thus have the opportunity to create a real art print made by them (on their original idea or drawing) and take it home. An experience that they will certainly not forget - in fact, they can hang it in their home! The course includes etching with the drypoint technique on Plexiglas or drypoint on zinc. I will follow you in the choice of subjects, in the preparation of the drawings and during all the processing phases, from the initial study to the processing of the plate up to the final prints. Reservations are accepted by people from the same family or relatives

This was a fun experience. Arrianna was helpful but not intrusive and she created the prints from the etchings we made under her guidance. It is recommended that you allow a few days for your print to dry in her shop between large felt mats that she changes out several times a day, otherwise the paper will warp... plan to do this early in your visit then return to collect your print and plate. Her artwork is very beautiful as well and you can purchase original numbered prints, copies or smaller postcard sizes at reasonable prices. Also, there is a nice place for coffee etc just a few doors down.
Amazing workshop with Arianna! We created original prints, learning and doing every step of the process - creating the printing plate, preparation, inking, printing. Arianna is a terrific teacher - helpful, knowledgeable, patient. We left with several prints we created (and some of Arianna’s artwork!). The studio and workshop is a cozy and inspirational environment- you see all sorts of art, learn about print making, and have a terrific time along the way. Can wait to frame and hang the prints we made!
This was a unique experience, and a very interesting skill to learn. Have a photo of Venice ready to turn into your work of art!
Arianna was fantastic. You can tell how much she loves her art and how passionate she is about Venice and print-making. We enjoyed an 8 hour etching course, she was patient, meticulous, informative and delightful. She speaks excellent English and it was a great atmosphere because as we were being enthusiastically taught, customers from all over the world were coming into the shop and buying Arianna's prints and originals. The lovely studio is in a great location as well, with bars and a great coffee shop/tea shop on the canal side nearby. We would highly recommend visiting Arianna's shop for some original artwork made in Venice, or if you have more time take a printing course with her - you won't regret it!
My sketch translated into linocutprint using two lino blocks - so excited with the results and what a pleasure to find Arianna of @plumplumcreations who provided her expertise and support to making it happen. Do check out Arianna who is a fabulous artist and also offers printmaking courses in her shop/studio. I took the 8 hr course and how brilliant to be able to convert my sketch into print in Venice. Swipe right to see the different stages from actual sketch, lino blocks cut and prints. Such a brilliant find and grazie mille Arianna 😊
