Very interesting expérience.

Our guide was Paulina. She is a very nice person and has a lot of knowledge about her town. She answered the questions of everyone. During the walking between two explanations, She was interested about us. We appreciated a lot our tour.

We took this tour with Carmila and afterwards booked the Roma Norte tour with Sofia- both were amazing! Our guides were so informative, welcoming, and helpful, the pace was relaxed, and they really brought the neighborhoods to life.

First Time in Coyocan

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fanastic. The description is slightly misleading at I assumed we’d have 20 minutes of admission inside the Frida Kahlo museum as the itinerary mentions “20 minutes free admission” so I assumed it would be a very short tour inside. Maybe not the actual museum but entry perhaps. Although the tour was lovely the ending was across the street of the museum and the tour guide mentioned it’s recommended to tip $250 pesos per person which is a bit strange to request a certain amount of tip as well. Nonetheless Coyocan is a beautiful place.

Operator response

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the experience and appreciated your guide's knowledge and enthusiasm. We also regret any confusion regarding the museum visit. Admission to the Frida Kahlo Museum is not included in the tour, and this information is listed in the exclusions section. Regarding the suggested contribution, our guides do not receive a fixed salary and rely entirely on the voluntary contributions of participants. The suggested amount is based on a commonly accepted standard used by walking tours around the world, but the final contribution is always at each guest's discretion. Thank you again for your comments, and we are glad you had the opportunity to enjoy the charm of Coyoacán.
