Itinerary
We will make a short stop on the way to Cotopaxi volcano to buy snacks, use ATMs or hygienic services. In addition, we will appreciate the change of climate characteristic of the Ecuadorian wasteland. Afterwards from the parking lot, take a walk of about 1 hour to the José Rivas Refuge at 4.864 meters. Make sure you take your time and Acclimate you to the height. Visit the Mariscal Sucre Interpretation Center known as the Park Museum. It features showrooms, a souvenir shop and a café.
We will make a 30-minute expedition in the lagoon of Limpiopungo located 3,800 meters above sea level, interacting with the flora and fauna native to the area.
