This waterfall hike was easily one of the highlights of our trip! It was definitely intense and challenging at times, but that made it so much more rewarding. The waterfalls and views were absolutely stunning and made every climb, river crossing, and steep section completely worth it. Our guide Christian was amazing. He was so kind, patient, and encouraging the entire hike. He helped us climb over rocks, safely cross the rivers, and was always there whenever someone needed a hand. He made us feel comfortable the whole way, and his positive attitude made the experience even more enjoyable.
we did the vuelta de cañon hike and we had no regrets!! our guide was patients , helpful, and very informative (he gave us many fun facts about different species of plants and animals). definitely doing another hike with them could not recommend them more !
This tour was great, very fun and adventurous. It's was definitely worth the price and our tour guide was very patient and so helpful throughout the challenging parts of the hike. He made us feel very safe and secure and showed us things we wouldn't have seen unless he pointed them out. I definitely recommend this tour.
The whole experience was great! The waterfalls and views like no other! The climb back is no joke but so worth it!
Incredible, the place is magical, and the route is challenging but one of the best things you can do to remember how beautiful nature is.
What an incredible hike! It wasn't nearly as hard or as long as I thought it would be. I could see this hike being difficult for someone who doesn't do any cardio or hiking regularly. There is a super steep hill about a half mile long (no joke longest hill I've ever walked) at the beginning and the rest is relatively flat. I did it in my low top hiking boots and they were perfect. I definitely would not do this hike in regular water shoes, or hiking sandles. Bring a towel and leave in the car. We got rained on and forgot to bring a towel/dry clothes for the car.
The tour was amazing, make sure to ask for Cristian as he was the best tour guide we could’ve asked for.
The hike was beautiful and the guides were friendly and very helpful. 10/10 for that. Improvements: we only got to do half of the hike and did not get to see the portion shown in the photos, I am assuming it was due to safety concerns as it rained heavily the previous days. I have no issues with that, but wished it was communicated to us that we will skip half of the hike. It would also be reasonable to refund some of the amount paid. However all in all, we really enjoyed the experience.
Amazing tour. Worthwhile trek however be prepared to scramble over rocks and trees to reach the waterfalls. Steep downhill walk to start of trail so be prepared to walk back up it again.
Very fun and unique hike, there will be a language barrier but I had so much fun. You go down this road but hike is actually fun, but going up the road is actually harder than the hike lol
