Your experience starts from the moment you leave the port. The meeting point will be in the port area. Here, our team will be waiting for you with a smile and a personalized sign bearing the name of the leader of the group, i.e. the person who made the reservation. We want everything to be clear and stress-free for you, so we have prepared this special reception. Our staff will be ready to guide you and make sure you feel welcome from the get-go. Remember to arrive on time and don’t forget to take a few extra minutes to leave the port and reach the agreed point with peace of mind.

DO NOT BOOK THIS EXCURSION - the Tour Operator did not show up, the contact phone number provided did not work and none of the other tour providers or taxi companies have ever heard of this provider. Additionally, it is “non-refundable” and as of yet (3 days later) I have not been refunded my money from Trip Advisor/Viator.
It was not what we booked. We booked a private tour with a guide and ended up with a taxi driver. An agent (from the the tour company?) tried to talk us out of the ruins and when we said no, he said the taxi driver needed to stop to get cash and asked if we felt safe. Clearly this was not a good way to start! We did go to Chacchoben ruins, but were left at the entrance and told to be back in 35 minutes to figure our way around. Afterwards, we were supposed to go to an all inclusive club for food and drink. We did not grab a snack at the ruins as we thought we were heading for that. We were instead put on a boat to do a boat ride on the Bacalar. It was a beautiful ride, but we were dehydrated as we had not had any liquids from our ruins visit onward. We then were taken back to the pier, where we were finally able to get water and a small snack. The driver was very personable and tried to do what he could which is why I gave it two stars. The tour company was a total failure!

From the very first moment, we knew this tour would be something special. The Nova team was waiting for us right outside the port with private transportation, warm smiles, and the energy of a perfectly curated adventure. We started by exploring the mystical Chacchoben Mayan Ruins, walking among ancient temples filled with history and powerful energy. Then came the highlight: Bacalar — the hidden gem of Mexico. We were welcomed at a beach club right on the Lagoon of Seven Colors, with unlimited drinks, delicious food, and a stunningly relaxed atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtful. Every moment felt unforgettable. This wasn’t just a tour — it was an experience I’ll remember forever. If you’re visiting Costa Maya, this is the one you can’t miss.
DO NOT do this tour nor work with this tour operator! There is not enough time to stop and eat. The tour operator did not communicate this well and just wanted to add on to make more $$$. Since we did not have time to stop we had to pay $250 plus for food and drinks at the Beach Club. Not a great experience.
