Our tour guide did not show up. We were at the meeting spot 30 minutes before the scheduled time. We responded to the Viator website when we had service on the ship several hours before. In the past when we have used Viator as soon as our credit card was charged, it was considered a verification to us. My wife reached out on her phone when we were docked via 'WhatsApp'. A copy of this can be made available, if needed. We took the first train available in Cobh to ensure we were there on time.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the confusion and the inconvenience caused. Our guide did attempt to reach out to you prior to the tour to coordinate, but unfortunately was unable to connect. We understand this was frustrating, especially given the effort you made to arrive on time, and we appreciate you sharing the details of your experience.
The tour guide did not show up. The only good thing about the tour was the refund and the Murphy’s ice cream we enjoyed to drown our sorrows.
This guide should be doing more tours! Personalized the tour which i loved. Personal places, foods, experiences, history. Never ever drowned me in facts. Loved it, highly recommend!
Enjoyable walking tour of Cork with our lovely guide Jerry. We got a great sense of the city and its history. I would recommend this tour to friends and family.
Tour guide is not a local. Tour guide was a student who was not from Ireland and had only lived in Ireland for about 1 year. She knew where sites were but not much about them. She was difficult to understand, and I believe she did not understand us several times. Very little knowledge of Cork. Very nice human but certainly not a typical tour guide. We asked Viator for our money back bc this tour was falsely advertised. Viator will not give us our 200 back.Won't be using Viator ever again
Confirm tour start meeting location. A lot of steps walked, but at a very leisurely and comfortable pace.
We had the best tour ever!! Our guide was so informative and well read regarding history, architecture, Irish culture and had detailed knowledge of the area. They built the tour around what we wanted to learn and the results were outstanding. Absolutely amazing couple both were kind, easygoing, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Michael and Ale's guided tour.
