Excellent information about the city of Cork and its history. We learned about the sport of hurling and even got to try it firsthand which was really fun. The ride was not too strenuous and perfect for all range of family members.

James was our guide and he was amazing! It was the best tour we have done in comparison to the hop on hop off bus and the the other tour buses we have experienced!!!
I am delighted you enjoyed the experience. I try to keep the Cycle Tour of Cork informative and entertaining. Thanks for the review!
My family had a wonderful time with James! The tour was very informative and fun. We chose the standard bikes and it was an easy ride. Except for two small hills, the riding was flat and mostly on marked bike lanes. Even when riding with traffic I felt very safe. We saw a lot of cool, historic sites and leaned a lot. James has a great personality and made it very fun. I would highly recommend this experience!!!

Five stars: Fun, easy e-bike tour with a fantastic Cork guide My wife and I had a terrific experience on the Cork City Cycle Tour with James Foley, who was both our guide and the owner of the bike business. This was our first time using e-bikes, and wow. They made going up hills easy, made longer distances feel effortless, and took less than a minute to understand. We biked all over Cork and visited places we never would have reached on foot on our own. Stops included University College Cork, Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral, Shandon / St. Anne’s Church, Elizabeth Fort, the River Lee, and around central Cork. Even if we had walked to some of these places ourselves, we would not have known what we were looking at. James made the difference. James is very knowledgeable about Cork history and added fun stories throughout the tour. He has an interesting background too. He formerly worked in quality control at a major pharmaceutical company before deciding he preferred to own his own business. That attention to detail shows in how he runs the tour. He also keeps the group size small. Our tour had four guests plus James, and I understand he limits the group to eight, which makes the experience feel personal and easy to follow. Cork has great bike lanes, and the e-bikes made it easy to cover a lot of ground in about 2.5 hours. This tour is fun, efficient, informative, and a great way to see many Cork sites with context you would not get on your own. Five stars. Highly recommended.
Dan, I appreciate the time you took to write such a positive review of the Cork City Cycle Tour. Great to hear that you both enjoyed the experience. I agree, the E-Bikes make it so easy to cycle around the city. Thanks again
What a great tour of Cork! Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. We even had a chance to try out hurling in a park. We had a great time and learned so much about the city, its history, and Irish life. Thank you for the memories.
Delighted that you enjoyed the Cork City Cycle Tour and the hurling in the park. Thanks James
