Ipanema beach is bordered by Arpoador Beach on one end and Leblon Beach on the other end. This beach is considered one of the main centers of activity for the city of Rio. One of the most expensive places to live, the neighborhood is full of wealthy residents.
Is one of the most famous and most beautiful beaches in the world. The atmosphere is very vibrant and the people are colorful and fun loving. After the pick-up we will start the tour from Copacabana Beach.
The Botafogo beach are one of the most beautiful postcards of Rio de Janeiro, being inside the Guanabara Bay and having the Sugar Loaf ahead to set the scene. However the beach is more frequented by locals, for sports, sun bathing and recreation, instead of swimming. Occasionally some music concerts are organized in the place.
The palace was built around 1853 for a merchant named Machado Coelho in neoclassical style. It was acquired by the imperial government in 1865 in favor of the recently married Princess Isabella and the Count of Eu; On this occasion, the architect José Maria Jacinto Rebelo underwent some transformations to the building. He also planted a hundred palm trees to give more solemnity to the access road. In 1889, the building was confiscated by the Republican government and subjected to a new restoration in 1908 under the direction of Francisco Marcellino de Souza Aguiar and landscape architect Paul Villon, in an eclectic style. After various uses, the palace belongs since 1960 to the government of the state of Rio.
The Tijuca Forest or Floresta da Tijuca is a tropical rainforest in the city of Rio de Janeiro which is 3.5% of the city of Rio de Janeiro, around 11 times Central Park in NY. The tour will reach Tijuca Forest with a stop at Paineiras to board the official vehicles of the National Park Authority to be able to reach the top of the Corcovado Hill where The Christ The Redeemer Statue is located.
From the top of Corcovado Hill you will be able to admire The Christ of the Redeemer statue, which has 38m or 125 feet in height and was made of reinforced concrete clad in a mosaic of thousands of triangular soapstone tiles, and also will have a chance to see some of the most beautiful views of the city.
Only in case of poor visibility on the summit of the Corcovado, we will make an alternative stop at Mirante Dona Marta which offers one of the most incredible views of the city, guaranteeing the title of one of the most visited tourist attractions in Rio de Janeiro.

We were picked up 30 mins late, from then on it was disorganised chaos. The guide had to go buy the tickets but we ended up in the same queues for sugar loaf mountain, we missed the sunset (which was the whole point!!) and ended up seeing it in the dark. Really disappointed, the guide did his best and told us some interesting facts but I would never recommend this. Christ the redeemer part was fine.
We had a great time at Christ the Redeemer. It was the perfect amount of time to get photos. They did change the time of our reservation a a day or two prior which was a little annoying since we wanted to be there early but nonetheless still a great experience!
I booked the early tour with a view to avoiding the worst of the crowds, but they changed the time so went when it was very crowded. Lucia was a great guide, kept things under control and navigated the chaos.
Credit cards are accepted at all attractions. Pay currency in your countries by credit card. This will save you money.
fantastic, fun trip to the top. beautiful view over bay, neighborhoods and beaches. cool guide with lots of info. absolution recommended
Amazing tour!! Thank you. I loved the fact that we were able to get there at a reasonable time. Thanks again
I got moved to a different tour since this was not offered during Carnaval, so I was one a tour that went to Christ and Sugarloaf. The tour that I went on was definitely not one of the first groups there and it was packed. I think it would be better to decide on a day where you want to go to the statue and wake up early to take yourself there. I also don't think you would need a tour for Sugarloaf. There's a large shopping center at the top of both mountains and it would have been nice to sit and have lunch or a few drinks there. But since we only got 30 minutes at the top of sugar loaf and 20 minutes at the second stop, there wasn't time. For both Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf you'd be better going yourself and getting up early.
We got there early, so no queues for the train upstairs. Arriving at the top there was fog in the bay and it was misty on the mountain. That was a shame. It gave a serene feeling, the Christ image shrouded in mists. There were few people, so we could walk around and take pictures, occasionally the fog lifted a bit. But it didn't get really bright.
WE are sorry that the day was no clear but it can happen. Important is that you enjoyed the tour. Regards,
The host was friendly and great overall just read the inclusions we had to pay for the entry fee in both locations I believe there was a different package on here that includes the entree fee just makes it easier.
Hi, our tours do not include entrances fees because on the attractions they have different rates for children, students, seniors. This is the possibility to pay less. Our guides always help with the purchasing of tickets. Regards,
Despite letters to Customer Relations, and also the Chief Executive, I have had no response to my request for a refund for a payment we made to a seat change several weeks before our flight. I enclosed copies of a receipt for the paid seat selection and also our boarding passes. NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER.
Hi Patricia, we are a tour operator in Rio de Janeiro and you post this review on the wrong place. We don't sell seats, we never had you as customer on a tour. Your review harms us so please delete it. Regards,
