Horrendous start. Late pick up by company so we missed first boat. Then we were dumped on coral island where there were 500 to 600 rows of deckchairs for two hours. Dreadful. Not allowed to stay on boat. Sails were never put up apart from on the sunset when the jibsail was used for 15 mins. Food was surprisingly good and the eve cruise to see sunset was good. Definitely a con as no sailing and we did not want to be with nearly 1000 on an island where beach had loads of plastic rubbish everywhere.
Hi, we booked the sailing catamaran tour to coral island from Nai Harn hotel / Phuket for feb 24. The tour was booked at the travel desk in Nai Harn hotel on Feb 23. The 2 offered core activities , snorkelling and watching sunset were cancelled due to bad weather. Therefore we had to stay for 3 hours at coral island which was crowded and the facilities especially toilets filthy and dirty. But the most critical part of the trip was that we had to use an approximate 150 long floating pier in order to go ashore and back to the boat later. The waves moved the pier in all directions without mercy. There was no chance to hold on the anything because this pier had no supporting handles at the sides. It was upmost dangerous to let the people walk on the pier without life jackets. Besides of the permanent movements of the pier waves overflooded the pier . It was a risky and dangerous experience which could have easily ended in a drama. The whole tour should have been cancelled. People should never uses this kind of floating piers under these weather conditions. Kurt Nass
" The tour was booked at the travel desk in Nai Harn hotel on Feb 23 " So why write review here !?
The boat was new and so clean . Out tour guide , Iou, was a very nice lady and she tried so hard to take us to see as many places as we could , but it wasn’t possible , cause the weather was really bad and wasn’t safe for us . She gave us options though ,but we still chose to go back . We were a group of 20 people . Overall, was a nice experience . Would definitely do it again but in a nice weather .
I'm not a great snorkeller so I didn't go swimming but I enjoyed the cruise, especially the lady who ran the brown team's tour. The dinner was tasty but I was a bit appalled to see so much get wasted at the end. Maybe donate it to a food charity instead.
This was marketed as a dinner cruise, and it is not. You eat on Coral Island before heading to the cape. The food was Thia food, and it was good. The snorkeling was good but only 30 minutes on the south side of the island before arriving on the beach. The included beach chair is not a lounge chair with umbrella. It is one of a group of chairs back from the beach in between the buildings
Dear Customer, sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations. but it's not dinner cruise you booked! Your feedback is important to us. 🙏 Kind regards, Thailand Tours team.

We were picked up from our hotel on time but had other pick ups in Phuket before making our way to the harbour. On our arrival we had to wait around for some considerable time before boarding the catamaran. When we did depart we were almost an hour late. The catamaran was lovely and spacious. Our first stop was to snorkel in a bay off Coral Island. Due to our late start we were told we only had 30 minutes. Unfortunately the first few swimmers in were stung by small jellyfish so the snorkeling was cancelled. Obviously this was no fault of the organisers. We then made our way to the otherside of the island for beach and other beach activities. Although the sea was very calm we were told it was too rough to eat on board the catamaran and we would be eating dinner in the restaurant on Coral Island. (I am no sailor but if that was too rough to eat on the catamaran that day then you would never be able to eat on board. I personally think it was easier for the crew if we ate at the restaurant rather than on board). The dinner however was good. Again due to our late start we had approximately an hour on the beach so no time for any beach activities. Once back on board we set off for the sunset. This turned out to be magical with a beautiful sunset going out and a full moon reflecting on the sea on our return. Once back to the harbour it was a bit manic finding our return bus as several other boats were unloading aswell. Having said that it was well organised. We were dropped back at our hotel on our return. Overall the trip was very enjoyable and the staff very friendly. Food was good. It was just a shame we were late getting on board the catamaran which cut our leisure time snorkeling and relaxing on the beach very short. Also not eating on board was a bit disappointing. That said from our experience the trip was very worth doing.
Dear 1alistairl, I’m happy to hear that our team provided you with excellent service. I’ll make sure that they receive your feedback. I’m sure it will make their day! Kind Regards, Thailand Tours Team
The tour seems to start really late, waited like 30-40 mins to go to the pier to get on the boat. Once we got to the destination to snorkel we were faced with box jellyfish, a couple people got stung and 30 minutes was cut from the tour. So now we’re going to eat @4pm on Coral island, we were allowed 1 hr to eat and no swimming time. I would think 1.5 hrs would be allowed since we weren’t allowed to snorkel. We tried to eat 15 mins so we could swim which wasn’t pleasant because it was so shallow. My daughter decided to parasail, which costed 800 baht. But it lasted only 3 mins, the boat just went in one small circle and it was done. The sunset was really nice served with fruits. I think that was the only thing that I enjoyed.
Dear, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review of our snorkeling tour. We're sorry to hear that you had some negative experiences during your trip. We understand that the delay in getting to the pier was frustrating. We're working on improving our logistics to make sure that our tours start on time. We're also sorry to hear that you were stung by box jellyfish. This is a rare occurrence, but it is a risk that comes with snorkeling in some areas. We have a first-aid kit on board our boats, and we were able to provide assistance to the people who were stung. We understand your disappointment that you were not able to snorkel for the full amount of time. We made the decision to cut the snorkeling time short in order to ensure the safety of our guests. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused. We also understand your frustration with the parasailing experience. We're working on improving our parasailing operation to ensure that our guests have a more enjoyable experience. We're glad that you enjoyed the sunset. We think it's one of the most beautiful things about our tours. We appreciate your feedback, and we're committed to making our snorkeling tours the best they can be. We'll use your feedback to improve our operations and make sure that our guests have a more enjoyable experience. Sincerely, Thailand Tours team
So worth the money, really well organised and relaxing day, the island is beautiful and they allow a good amount of time to hang out. They did offer extra activities but wasn't required, the beach itself is stunning. Somewhat limited options for dinner but it is served quite early so easy to get something after.
