Cooking Classes and olive oil tasting.The real taste of Greece!

What a fun (and tasty) way to experience Corfu! George and his family are incredibly friendly and accommodating and it was a unique way to experience this gorgeous island. George offered a lot by way of history and culinary traditions and the food was absolutely delicious!

If you love food and you love yourself you have to go see George and his family in Corfu. Communication was excellent, transportation was easy and the food preparation/dining experience was A++++ Shopping in the market for fresh ingredients, going to the house to prepare it and then having George’s chef cook the food ended with an exquisite dining experience that will be hard to beat anywhere in the world. George keeps the groups small so everyone has a chance to participate in the chopping, stirring and mashing. All the while sharing the history of Corfu - we cannot recommend George more highly. He made us feel like family and treated us to an authentic Greek meal. Well done and thank you again George!

This cooking class was truly one of the highlights of our trip! Yorgos and Lola made us feel so welcomed — like we were part of their family. The cooking class and olive oil tasting was held at the family villa and was absolutely beautiful. The class was fun, relaxed, and incredibly enjoyable. We learned so much about local foods, and every dish we made was absolutely delicious! I would 100% recommend this cooking class to anyone looking for an authentic, memorable, and warm experience.

Such a great activity to do with your time in Corfu! Loved learning a bit about the history of the town and going shopping before preparing our meal. Great group of people who are friendly and fun to be around. If you’re on the fence, do it!

We booked on to this experience after reading the good reviews and were not disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed the shopping, the tour of the Jewish quarter, and the cooking experience back at Yorgos' villa. He especially took time to speak to my daughter who is learning Greek and spent time introducing new vocabulary. The old olive oil press was impressive and we were taught how to taste olive oil and what to look out for when buying. The food we helped prepare was delicious and plentiful. Yorgos gave us a lift back to town(prearranged) and would have dropped us at a convenient location in town. A thoroughly relaxing day which gave an insight to the local culture.

I was a little nervous going alone but as soon as I met George he made me feel right at ease . The group was lovely, we started out at the market shopping for our food along with a small tour of the city which was really nice. We then went to Georges villa which was unbelievable. We were greeted by his family and made feel very welcome. We started to prepare our meals and they all came out great and everything was done super old school. While the food was cooking, George gave us a small olive oil tour which was really nice along with a tasting. This was such a wonderful way to experience an authentic Greek cooking class . Highly recommend this visit even solo.

We highly recommend this tour if you want to experience the authentic and traditional side of Corfu. The day begins with a guided walk through the local market where you meet vendors and discover small specialty shops. The tour guide also shares the history of the island in an engaging and informative way. You then head to a beautiful olive farm for a cooking class where you prepare and enjoy traditional Greek dishes in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The guides, cooks and team are warm, knowledgeable and make the entire experience unforgettable. A true must do in Corfu.
