Welcome to Island Organics Samui - Join famed chef Lat for the day and learn how to prepare and cook traditional Thai in our purpose built Thai cookery kitchen. The most hands on experience ever - you will prep & cook yourself ! You will also learn to make curry pastes, coconut cream, herbal drinks plus tour our organic micro-farm as part of your Thai cookery experience on Koh Samui. Our gardens are our fresh market ! Pickup Locations & Times
** TRANSPORT NOT INCLUDED WITH ONLINE BOOKING ** Please check your email 1 day prior to the class date to confirm your transport arrangements as we are hard to find up a dirt track !! Thank you. * Meeting point if you have a scooter or car - 10AM @ 'LOTUS go FRESH' car park opposite 'Tembo Beach Resort' & follow our staff 3km to our property. *If being dropped off, tell us in advance so we can send our car to take you to our property 3km away. * We can also book a minivan for you & is less cost than taxi's & is direct to our place. * This will save you time and money ensuring a hassle free journey to our private location. * The van drivers we use on a daily basis can be trusted and know our location. * Price example below & to be 'paid in cash' in the class only. 1. Bophut, Chaweng, Chong Mon, Plai Lam area 700thb round trip pickup at 10:10am. 2. Chaweng Noi, Lamai, Maenam area 900thb round trip pickup at 10am. 3. Bang Por, Nathon, Maret 1,300thb round trip pickup at 9:40am. 4. Lipa Noi & Thailang Nam 1,500thb round trip pickup at 9:30am. * NOTE - We can't pickup if staying up the mountain in a private villa. Ask you villa manager to assist you. ** Also, please check your email prior to the class date to confirm your transport arrangements - that helps us a lot !! Thank you :)

We recently did the cooking class at Island Organics Samui, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, Chef Lat and her team were incredible. They ran everything like a well-oiled machine, yet still made the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. Every step was clearly explained, and even though wok cooking is fast-paced, they made it easy to follow—as long as you listened carefully, you couldn’t go wrong. What really stood out was Chef Lat herself. She is a genuinely beautiful person, and hearing her story and learning about how she grows her own produce was inspiring. You can tell there’s real passion behind everything she does. I also picked up some unexpected tips—especially a great trick to improve my worm farm tea back home, which I never expected from a cooking class! We were lucky enough to be the last class before they begin renovating the kitchen to make it even better. If I’m back in Koh Samui, I’ll definitely be returning to learn more dishes and see the new setup. Thank you, Chef Lat and your amazing team—highly recommended.

excellent experience! very well organized and structured. chef let and her staff are very well prepared, efficient, and conduct a seamless class from beginning to end. the food prepared is super delicious, and instructions are easy to follow. the garden is super special and quite impressive. i would highly recommend this unique experience of a true farm to table to anyone in Koh Samui looking for a fun activity.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hours spent at Island Organics! We learned a lot about combining Thai herbs and spices and the beautiful flavours of soups, curries and other dishes. One can feel Lat’s passion and hard work that she has and continues to pour into this project. Very commendable. We made our own yummy dishes. Fabulous and fun learning. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. If you only do 1 thing in Koh Samui then do this. Chef Lat and her team are brilliant and you learn so much. Thank you Chef Lat!

Lat was an excellent teacher with clear instructions and has a great sense of humour. She is very well prepared and has the class running like clockworks. She is dedicated to her craft and her ability to create all the sauces and the moringa power and tablets is exceptional as she has so little time after her classes. She is an amazing person who has achieved so much in the short time she has lived on her farm. She started from nothing and made this into such a beautiful place from farm to fork with all her ingredients to pick right there on the organic farm. She also has her own chickens and has fresh eggs everyday. She even has her own worm farm. I learnt a lot from Lat as part of her course she showed us how to grow from seed and use hay to protect the seed from being burnt from the hot sun. Thanks you so much Lat. Wishing you more success as each class we learnt different dishes. She also gives back to the community and provides free cooking classes for primary school kids. Lat has a heart of gold.

One of our favourite experiences we did in Koh Samui! Really loved this experience! Chef Lat is super friendly and knowledgeable and made the cooking class a lot of fun! Come hungry because you make a lot of food and it’s all delicious you can’t leave anything!
