Our family stopped in Tallinn on a cruise and went on a day trip with our guide Kullo. He took us to the bog, the national park, the sea side, and the old town. He was so much fun and we learned SOOO much from him. He knew so much, and if he didn’t know, he was quickly able to find the answer. Even when our group had some needs that were not planned for he was quick to accommodate us. We are true fans of Estonia and Kullo! Would definitely recommend this trip.
Johanna our guide from Traveller Tours, truly made our short shore excursion in Tallinn unforgettable. She warmly introduced us to the beautiful city with so much passion and knowledge. Thanks to her, we also got to experience a typical Estonian meal, which we absolutely enjoyed-it was delicious and authentic! Her friendly personality, expert guidance and thoughtful attention to detail turned our brief visit into a wonderful adventure. It was the best way to explore Tallinn!
Amazing tour! Knowledgable and very accommodating guide! Enjoyed tremendously despite the chilly weather! Would want to come back with better weather next time! Thanks Kris!
This was the best money spent while In Europe. This tour has to be one of the best historic tours I have taken. We had scheduled it to start at our hotel which is just across from Freedom Square. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative on the history of the old town of Tallinn and also was able to make it relatable to our Finnish ancestry. He was very personable and was able to accommodate an older person in our group who needed to take frequent breaks from walking. The five hours seemed to flyby.
Katrin is a local guide who gave us wonderful insights into Tallinn’s history and the buildings, churches, and old walls, towers, and turrets! She was easy going, informative and a delight to spend a half day with in beautiful, magical Tallinn. Would highly recommend!!!!! PS she gladly took photos of my husband and me
Tallinn is the focal point of our cruise ship itinerary, so we hired a private guide per Rick Steven's book recommendation. Uku, a Thermal Enginerring gradurate student, showed up and gave us an unforgettable tour fully of history, stories, and pride, a highlight of our entire trip. Highly recommend!!!
Our group of 8 people just returned from our Baltic Cruise. One of the highlights of our holiday was our Best of Tallinn Tour provided by Traveller Tours. This was a walking tour of the Old Town combined with a driving tour to some areas outside of the usual crowded tourist areas. Our guide, Kert, was excellent. Being a teacher, he was able to provide a lot of historical information to our group in a a way that was both interesting and fun for everyone. Tallinn is a beautiful city that is rich in history. Therefore, a tour like this was extremely worthwhile as opposed to simply walking around without obtaining all of the information that we learned. In addition to the standard "touring," we stopped at a local restaurant for lunch. When the tour was finished, Kert gave us useful information for things to do on our own in the old town prior to returning to our ship. The booking process was seamless and the price was excellent value for the quality that we received. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tallinn and would enthusiastically use them again in the future.
This was a super tour!! Our guide was very knowledgeable of Tallin and the history of Estonia. It was a fun and great learning experience for us. Tallin is a super place to visit and this is an excellent introduction tour.
No one showed up and I was charged now I have to haggle to get my money back. We neither saw a car nor driver in Tallinn to do the tour we paid for.
Hi The booking was made on the Viator site and they have a policy to charge people right away, even when we have not confirmed the tour from our side. In case we are not able to confirm the tour they will send people an automatic refund. As we are a small company we are not able to confirm all the bookings, especially the last minute ones. We do recommend people give us a call or send us an e-mail in case they have not received a confirmation e-mail with guide details. After confirming the tour, we always agree on the meeting point and time in advance as well. It seems that in this case the tour has never been confirmed from our side. I am very sorry about that as we would never want people to be in this situation. All the warmest wishes Marii
Our Guide Kurt (History Teacher) met us at the head of the pier. We drove in to town, where we walked through the upper part of town to see all of the look out points. All the while, he gave us some history of the area and anecdotal stories of the significance of each spot. We then made our way into the lower town and got a good insight in to how Tallinn evolved throughout the last 500 or so years. Then we drove to the Presidential Palace. As we walked through the grounds and the gardens around them. Kurt gave us a lot of good insight in to how Tallinn evolved through the different eras of rulers and occupations over the years. We went to the outdoor Amphitheater where they hold concerts and community singing events. Since he is a local he had some great stories about events he had attended.Afterward, we went to the WWII memorial. As a history teacher he was well versed in the historical significance of Tallinn, and how so many countries moved in and used Tallinn as a strategic location.I highly recommend this tour, if you are in Tallinn, or Estonia in general. Kurt, specifically was a wealth of information, and was a great tour guide.
