This is the ultimate Costa Rican typical lunch with a touch of delicate, Aquiares gastronomy. It takes place in a 100+ year old home, La Esperanza, where you will be free to explore a 1 hectare garden, relax in our lovely terrace and enjoy a specialty selection of Aquiares coffee. Lunch includes: - Fresh fruit juice, sodas - Salad made from local produce - Several dishes including rice with beans and grilled tomato - Local dishes like Caribbean-style - Turrialba cheese with banano in honey - Aquiares coffee, made in French Press ***please advice on potential food allergies

I came with a group of good friends and we had a wonderful lunch. We spent 3 nights at the Hacienda and the experience was absolutely excellent. I recommend it for families, groups of friends.
The food was wonderful and the view incredible. Everyone was super friendly. We even got a tour of the hacienda and plan to come and stay there in the future.
My family and I spent an afternoon at Aquiares. We had a wonderful time, thanks to our host, Alfonso and his family. Exquisite food and service. The 100 year old house feels so warm and its surrounding gardens are amazing. I highly recommend Aquiares to spend a day or more with family or friends.
