We had Luka for one tour and Dijana. Great guides and very informative. Loved every second of it
Christina was knowledgeable, well spoken and with a sense of humour. The tour covered a lot of information, including some of the history of the empires fighting over Croatia from Austria-Hungary and Ottomans through to WWl and WWll and the creation of Yugoslavia, before leading us on to the Homeland war in the 1990's. We visited the tunnels created as shelters for WWll and now reopened to the public and an old basement also used as a bomb shelter where we watched a video about the Homeland war. It was a good overall view of the conflicts and helped us, as outsiders, make sense of the war. Would recommend if you are interested in history.
Very good guided tour, mindful of the difference between facts and opinions, with an added philosophical concern about war and its, unfortunately, always present relevance. One cannot visit Croatia without being informed of its painful past and, at the same time, that of the former Yugoslavia.
Excellent arangement with great picnic spot specially Zagreb Croatia City tour & Slovenia leck bled a very famous Bich and boat 🚢 riding
It was a very nice tour with a lot of information about the recent history of communism in the region. Diana, our guide, was lovely and she answered all our questions. A very interesting tour, but perhaps a little overpriced.
What a way to kick off my visit to Zagreb, Diana was engaging, knowledgeable and brought the history to life - with lots of breaks during the heatwave! I definitely recognise this tour if you want to learn about how Croatia came to be as it is today.
An essential tour to learn about the history of the city and the country. To understand the culture in general. Our guide Katja was wonderful and explained everything clearly and concisely. 10/10
Impressive. Very, very impressive. In Spain, the topic of the Yugoslav War is not treated in such depth, and it is incredible that they tell you something so close with such passion and at the same time so contrasted and reliable. Thank you, Katja, for such excellent work!!!
The tour guide was great and my sister and I learned a lot about the country
Kristina is an excellent guide who turns a tense period of time into a super interesting historical tour with real lived experiences
