My wife and I recently had only a day in Santander and found this great travel agency!! Although they had terrific excursions of the region along the coast our bad luck ( only initially) was we'd be there on a Thursday when regularly scheduled tours weren't scheduled. HOWEVER, I noted on the webpage that it was possible to inquire about private tour option Well Gabriela responded immediately and made a wonderful full day private tour option combining their classic trips to surrounding areas of Colmillo and Santillana, a visit to the Altamira cave museum, etc It was WONDERFUL. Our guide Jairo was so so terrific! So knowledge about the history of places and buildings he took us too. Just such a pleasant, patient and PRO- fessional person. Let's face it.... when you spend over 8 hours together he's got the perfect customer service skills.... I hope we didn't stress him too much 😂 HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AGENCY!!!
Very interesting to see the first Gaudi building as well as the impressive former Jesuit seminary. Our guide Jaido was enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
The guide was passionate about all the historical and architectural details, and took the time to explain clearly in English to us.
An experience on 2 beautiful sites with a very dedicated and available driver/guide (Jon). We love this small group concept that allows you to visit cultural places with peace of mind, thank you!
Our guide was amazing and he definitely made the trip for us! He had loads of knowledge and struck a really good balance with showing us around and giving us time to explore. He was brilliant at his job. The gaudí house was lively and we got to see the town too which was really quaint.
Excellent gui, empathetic, with a lot of knowledge, nice treatment, very professional. The route to Comillas very complete
“El Capricho de Gaudi” , the Comillas’ house it is impressive and surrounded with beautiful gardens. The Pontificate University history was very interesting. This is a trip worthy of your time.
Enough time to understand the places they offer. Good time to return and enjoy other activities.
We were picked up promptly at our hotel and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable from the start. We learned so much on the journey there and were well prepared for our experiences in the seminary, Comillas and for the Gaudi designed summer residence. The small group make it personal and we could ask all the questions we wished and create some beautiful memories. Thank you to our guide who did such a wonderful job.
Watch out for changes. I was offered an improved tour for another day, but no one mentioned it was longer than the original. I had to leave the tour to catch a train, and missed a portion of the experience.
Dear Vesna, we are sorry for the misunderstanding. In fact, as we commented about the tour change we mentioned we would visit three villages in the day and the Altamira Museum, plus optional visit to Gaudi building. We did not mentioned it was a full day tour as we gave it for granted and you never metioned you had a train trip in the afternoon. In any case, please notice the guide kindly drove you to the train station free of charge so that you would not miss your train. We apologise for the misunderstanding and hope you liked Comillas and Gaudi building that was the core of your initial tour.
