Itinerary
Dallas Tour At 10am, you are off for an adventure in the history of Dallas. Perhaps the genesis of Dallas as a small trading post in 1841 seems incredulous as one now looks on one of the most beautiful cities in the US. Dallas is indeed a city of international renown and boasts some marvelous landmarks. Guests to Dallas will want to give themselves plenty of time to take in the sights and sounds. Sights seen include: Founders Plaza, Old Red Court House, John Neely Bryan Cabin, JFK Memorial, Pioneer Plaza (largest bronze collection in the world), Dallas City Hall (designed by I.M. Pei), Thanks-Giving Square, First Baptist Dallas Fountain Plaza, Deep Ellum, The Wilson Block (historic neighborhood, Queen Anne/Victorian Style Houses), The Art District (the largest in the world!), Klyde Warren Park, The City of Highland Park (5th richest suburb in USA, home to many celebrities), Uptown the McKinney Avenue restaurant district, West End, Dealey Plaza (JFK assassination Point), and much more. Southfork Ranch Tour Texans have always believed that they live “larger-than-life,” and where else is that so clearly lived out than at the infamous Southfork Ranch? Make-believe, some say? Perhaps, yet for 13 years (356 episodes), this made-for-TV drama captured the imaginations of millions of people around the world. As one of the longest running series in American television history, “Dallas” invited folks into its world each week . . . and now guests from across the US and internationally are invited yet again to be guests at the “most visited White House west of D.C.” Guests may enjoy the museum and shopping the Ranch Round-up at the Visitor’s Center where they can buy Southfork Ranch gifts and Texas memorabilia. Additional items that are always of interest are: The prop gun used to frame the well-known question, “who shot JR?”; Lucy’s wedding dress; Video clips from many series’ episodes; and interviews conducted with “stars” of the show. From the Visitor’s Center, guests may take a train ride past the Ewing Oil Office to the Ewing mansion, visit J.R.’s bedroom, explore the grounds and shop at Lincoln’s and Longhorns, where Jock’s 1978 Lincoln automobile is on display. Also guests will be treated to “Dallas” inspired clothing along with a fine selection of cowboy hats.
Old Red Court House The Dallas County Courthouse, built in 1892 of red sandstone with rusticated marble accents, is a historic governmental building located at 100 South Houston Street in Dallas, Texas. Also known as the Old Red Courthouse, it became the Old Red Museum, a local history museum, in 2007

Combination of JFK and South Fork is great! Preston is a wealth of information. So engaging and interesting!
Daniel provided a great JFK tour and pointed out the police station where Lee Harvey Oswald was shot by Jack Ruby. That was a nice highlight for me. Fun tour of Southfork. Dan saved the day when he unlocked the door to garage where the Lincoln Continental was stored used in the Dallas TV show. Dan provided some recommendations to visit museums around Dallas. Overall, I had a great experience since it was my first time in Dallas visiting from southern California. Best time ever. Thanks, Robert Sandoval
This was a great tour as it brought back lots of memories from the 80s with the Dallas tv show Our tour guide and driver Dan was excellent and so informative, especially on the JFK assassination as we left Dallas. Highly recommend taking this tour.
Great experience, exactly what was promised when booked. 3hrs and 30 mins long. We had a great tour guide Orlando who was very informative about Dallas and its history. He gave us photo opportunity for Southfork too. A very careful driver as well.
We had the best time! Our tour guide, Dan, was impressive with his knowledge and made sure we enjoyed everything. He was knowledgeable, witty and even took our family photos as key spots. This was my birthday gift for my special needs brother and Dan did a great job keeping him included in the entire day. My ❤️ is full!
We had Orlando who was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable and loved his playlist that went along with the info he was telling. Would highly recommend requesting him for your next tour in Dallas!
Dan was very informative, accommodating, and went above and beyond offering to take pictures of us at South Fork. It was an enjoyable tour!
Dan was an excellent tour guide. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the JKF part of the tour. He’s also very enthusiastic about the history of Southfork/Dallas and ensures you get the best picture opportunities!
Great day out, our guide William was excellent, taking time to talk about the history of Dallas and the JFK assassination and then to Southfork
I did Southfork/Dallas highlights tour on November 19 with Dan. He did such a great job. He got out of van at every stop along the way and took photos of us for us. He walked around at Southfork looking for where to get tickets and check in. Due to construction, it was a confusing process but he stuck with you until he found the location. His efforts were amazing. During the Dallas highlights part of the tour, he asked where each of us was staying and drove by those hotels to tell us the history. My hotel has a haunted history which he shared. It was very interesting. I feel like he went above and beyond to give us the best experience of each tour. I also did JFK tour with Dan. Again, he got out of van to take photos for us and explained so much it was an amazing tour. We went to all locations involved including Oswald Rooming House, JD Tippit shooting location, Oswald's Apartment and of course, Dealey Plaza and 6th floor museum.
