Robin is an excellent guide and a knowledgeable individual with a deep understanding of the area. It's fascinating to see the wide network of people he is acquainted with in town, many of whom are his friends. Exploring the harbor and witnessing the extensive fish industry, operated predominantly by manual labor, was a truly remarkable experience. A highlight for me was the powerful music I heard at the Hindu temple Sri Kali Amman. The temple atmosphere was vibrant, with a variety of colorful ceremonies taking place.
Thank you
The driver/guide who came to pick us did not bother to look for us in the foyer of the hotel. We had to go and ask him if he was waiting for someone. He had very little English- very hard to communicate with him. We don't think he had good knowledge of the city. Many places he was going in circles and asking other people on the street for directions. Showed us only 3 places in all the time we were with him. It was total waste of our time and money. Extremely disappointed. We feel Viator should refund part of the money paid.
Dear Guest I am extremely concerned about the review of your dissatisfaction on the city tour. It was at the last minute that I was not able to participate as I was taken ill suddenly witha viral fever and as I did not want to dissapoint you canceling the tour I sent one of the drivers in the pool. I apologise on behalf of him for dissapointing you on this tour. Hope you will understand the situation. Thank you Kind regards Nishantha
This was a great tour around the sites of Colombo. Some were drive pasts because of positioning, but this was mentioned in the itinerary. Time at each location was perfect. My guide arrived on time and was very informative. He also asked if there was anywhere else I wanted to visit. I would recommend this trip as an onsite to the main attractions in colombo

The driver was very professional and friendly. He also told us a lot about everyday life. And didn't ask any stupid questions about why a woman was travelling alone.

Nishantha is an amazing tour guide, very informative and shows pure love for his country. Although the tour follows an itinerary he is very accomodating for your needs and can make simple stops and changes for you if you like, which we found very great! Once he gives you a thorough background and understanding of the destination he lets you go off and explore on your own. Nishantha would happily wait at his car for us while we went to get more photos which we loved! 10/10 tour guide, we would recommend him to anyone who wants a day trip to colombo without hassle. Not to mention the snacks he bought for us are sooo delicious!
