Itinerary

Founded in 1951 by the National Football Foundation, the College Football Hall of Fame immortalizes the greatest of the amateur gridiron. 5.1 million people have coached or played the game and less than 1,300 are inductees in the Hall. This makes the College Football Hall of Fame an extremely selective group of individuals. In 2014, the College Football Hall of Fame opened in Atlanta, a major hub of college football activity, a convention and tourist destination, and home of one of the nation’s busiest airports. It’s a $68.5 million, 95,000 square foot, state-of-the-art tribute to 977 players, 211 coaches, and countless fans. Three floors, five themed galleries and over 50 interactive exhibits, including a 47-yard football field and a three-story wall of over 750 college football helmets, awaits visitors.

Great for adults and children

This is a fun, interactive museum even if you are not a college football fan. The system places you visually and information wise.

My family and I visited...

My family and I visited on June 27, 2026. The world cup travelers were out and about and there was an awesome view from inside the College hall of fame museum. There were quite a few interactive things to do that kept my tweens and teen occupied as well as us adults.

Excellent!!

Brought my hubby here for his 44th birthday. He’s a huge Bama fan and loves college football in general. He loved it! We both had so much fun! It was way better than I expected. The interactive exhibits throughout the museum were fun, entertaining and very creative! Fun for a date or for the whole family!

Fun and Interactive Football Museum

The College Football Hall of Fame is a great spot to visit in Atlanta especially if you have a sport fanatic in your life. Our family visited using the Atlanta City Pass (which I highly recommend if you are visiting more than one Atlanta attraction). Upon arrival, visitors receive a card and create a profile. This allows visitors to interact throughout the museum and take some crazy photos! If you are not a football fan, that is a super-fun feature everyone can enjoy. For football fans, there are films, photos, trophies, awards and more that show the history of college football. Another extremely cool feature is the ability to eat on the "field" at the College Football Hall of Fame's own Chick-Fil-A. The menu is standard, but it is a pretty neat experience!

Fun fun fun

College football HOF. This was a blast and so entertaining. Getting to play unlimited games of College 26 on the Xboxes as my Ohio State Buckeyes was so much fun and whilst I didn't throw a pass or kick a field goal on the artificial grass I did put a couple of drop punts through the big sticks AFL style (me being an Australian who played Australian Rules football and not rugby)

Interactive, informative

We weren’t sure what to expect and this exceeded all expectations. The museum was so interactive, even our 6 year old who isn’t interested in football said it was one of his favorite things we’ve done. Highly recommend!

We had a conference and it was a great space. I felt the energy even with it being the weekend. Highly recommend.
