We had a fantastic tour at Finca Mariposa. Danny was a great guide and explained everything in detail answering all our questions. We had a go at everything and Daniel the farmer manager and his family were very hospitable and friendly providing lovely refreshments and of course fabulous coffee!
We were waiting for the tour but hadn’t been told they cancelled it last minute
We were with a nice small personal group and a lot was told about the process from plant to coffee in the unique climate with plenty of room for questions. There was picking, tasting, grinding, washing and then a delicious coffee and snack to end the experience. Possibility to buy the coffee also as a souvenir for home. Really a nice experience and highly recommended!!
This is an exceptional tour in beautiful surroundings. Our guides to include an English interpreter were thorough, knowledgeable and great hosts. The coffee process is an education which will only make you review your own coffee drinking habits. Thoroughly recommended.
An amazing morning in Jarden. Finca Mariposa coffee farm tour was set in a beautiful location. Daniel the coffee farmer walked us through the growing to drying process. Daniel our translator made sure it easy to follow. Plus a fresh coffee and sweet treat at the end and a ride in a Willys truck. It was a highlight of our visit.
We had a wonderful experience at Finca Mariposa today. The tour was informative, engaging, and beautifully paced, offering a true farm-to-cup understanding of coffee. The passion and knowledge shared made the experience special, and the setting itself is absolutely stunning. Tasting the coffee at the source was unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to truly appreciate Colombian coffee. ☕🌿
Had a really nice time. Being picked up from town was very convenient and authentic. The old jeep was really fun to ride in. The farm and the tour is very genuine and not a tourist trap. You will learn a lot and be put to work. Just remember long sleeves and pants because of the bugs.
We learned so much and felt so welcome at Daniel’s home. His wife made delicious pastries and we ate lots of fruit that was growing on the land. Our English translator guide, also Daniel was funny and friendly . The coffee was delicious and the birds were beautiful. This was one of the highlights of our trip.
Super cute little farm where the process of making coffee is shown, we found the group size of 4 people perfect!
This was a great experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Jardin and looking to immerse themselves in the culture and support a local farm
