Description

During the last years, Barcelona has become one of the main destinations in the world. A lot of visitors come to the city attracted by the enchantments of the culture and history art of this gem of the Mediterranean. But it also has slightly lost this main essence with new attractions made for the tourist who searches for bad quality entertainment. Somehow it´s the price you pay for being on the top destinations of the world. With our immersive local experiences, we give the chance to discover the real Barcelona to the tourist who is seeking for it. For us, the real Barcelona it´s made by their artisan’s citizens, who are not only working to keep traditions but also creating the new city of the 21st century. Learning from their mastery and being part of their daily routine in their workplace, we hope our client can discover the city, not just visit it.

During the tour, we explore the evolution of the city walking around the old town. Firstly, we start with The Ribera quarter, where the artisans have been working hand made since the middle age. Secondly, we will reach the Gothic quarter, the origin of the city, and the inspiration for the modernist artist as Picasso. Moreover, we move through the emblematic boulevard of Las Ramblas,. And last but not least, we reach the area of MACBA, where is located in the new 21-century era of the artists of the city. Here you can feel the vibes of the urban & art culture.

Great tour, Amazing tour guide

Silvanna is such an amazing tour guide! She had a wealth of information about Barcelona art history and it was great to see the gothic art mixed with the art of today. It is also clear that the owners and workers at the coffee shops and art galleries really liked her (with good reason). I took this tour about a month ago and have been raving about it ever since. Make sure to ask her about her other tours!

Thank you Silvana!

Thank you to Silvana for the great tour! We just moved to Barcelona and have begun taking tours to learn more about this fascinating city. This tour was so different from anything else we have seen. The information was exciting and we look forward to exploring more. Silvana is very knowledgeable about the coffee and art scene in Barcelona and we highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a different kind of tour.
