Must do trip when in Kochi, 2 different types of boats through narrow and wide canals. No need to head South for the experience. Nice lunch an a couple of activities. A great way to spend the day.
We enjoyed a wonderful full spread lunch before we embarked on our 3 hour boat ride. Arathy was our guide and she was incredible!
It was a really great experience. Guide explained everything well and the village experience, the boat ride, bird watching everything was wonderful. The lunch was also great. The cab picked us up in front of the hotel right on time and started right on time. Highly recommend.
It was very nicely organised. Despite some misunderstanding on my side the organizer handled the situation very well and I could still join the tour. It was very educational and interesting. I learned quite a bit about lifestyle in this region.
This tour was awesome, such a peaceful and relaxing way to see the sights. The tour guide picked us up near the cruise terminal and then we drove about an hour to the Kerala backwaters but the drive was interesting with lots to see. Stopped at a villagers house for a cup of tea and snacks and a demonstration about village life. We really enjoyed this slow paced and relaxing tour.
Picked up on time from the cruise ship port and taken to the Cochin backwards in an air conditioned mini bus. Good informative tour of the backwaters, then a tasty lunch. Would recommend, it was a good day out and very enjoyable.
So peaceful and definitely great to escape to the calm and tranquility of the backwaters. Guides Babu and Arethy were lovely and very chatty about the whole experience . Great to see a lady making coir mats and the food was lovely and extra portions too !
This was a nice water tour on a narrower pole pushed boat. The drive was an hour plus to the launch location. The drive was comfortable and entertaining. Our launch guide was a young women named auria was great! She had some interesting personal stories and was informative and jovial. After a brief home visit on River we disembarked and ate a light dinner at the tour organizers home. Lovely experience.
Wonderful backwater boating in Kerala with gracious and knowledgeable guide, Greeshma. Lunch at the host’s home was delightful and a lovingly prepared array of delicious Indian food.
Great tour with Arya who’s not only a good guide but also a talented singer. The lunch spread was nice although I would’ve preferred to have non-veg options too.
