Climb and Abseiling Hidden Pinnacles of Takun

It was my first experience, but I enjoyed it. I will train and come back.

We joined MIR Adventures for “Half Day Guided Hike, Climb, Discover The Pinnacle of Bukit Takun” tour, and I can only say — it was absolutely amazing and unforgettable! Throughout the hike, Eddie and MIR team guided us with great professionalism. The pacing was well-managed with timely breaks, and the rope systems were set up cleanly and efficiently, giving us full confidence. The climb to the top of Bukit Takun was a bit challenging, but with the support of Eddie and MIR team, everything felt much more manageable. The stunning view from the summit and the relaxing moment by the stream to soak our feet made the whole experience truly special. A big thanks to MIR Adventures for such a wonderful journey. Usually I like the outdoor environment, and I also love to climb mountains with my limbs, such activities are my heart. And Eddie's team members are very focused on safety, so people can enjoy excitement and feel safe.

Great experience with Eddie. Was in town for business and had some spare time before my flight left. Luckily I found Eddie and he bought my wife and I on a great day of hiking, climbing, via Ferretta, and repelling. Was the perfect amount of challenge and fun. Would highly recommend. We personally paired this morning and close by is Batu caves after lunch.

This is an amaizing experience! Hiking and climbing in deep rain forest has no price. We didn’t really know what to expect when we booked it, but it ecxeeded our expectations in terms of how incredibile and rewarding it was. We had no prior experience in climbing, so take this from an amateur point of view: the path is definitely rough since you’ll have to hike into steep forest, then climb a wall (I’d say this was the easiest and safest part) and then climb rocks that get sharper as you fo up. You’ll get to admire an incredibile landscape and then you’ll take the same path to get down and finally abseil to the ground. This means you have to be fit to do this. Our journey was a little bit more challenging since it had rained the day before and rocks tends to get slippery when it happens. We were litterally escorted by two professional climbers who made clear safety was the number one priority. And such good company too. We 100% recommend this experience if you’re looking for a bit of adrenaline rush during you’re KL stay.

Amazing hike with pristine trails and great views. If you are looking for an adventure in Malaysia, you shouldn't miss this one out! This was worth every penny, with the amount of guidance by the expert instructors, who were friendly and took safety seriously at every step of the way. Also, the rock climbing experience at the mid-way point of the hike was one of the main highlights of this hike. In terms of difficulty of the hike, you'll probably need some sort of decent fitness, with some rock climbing experience prior in order to do it comfortably though. Really glad to have found this tour, and I'll highly recommend this to others considering too!

Amazing adventure in the most beautiful nature! Our guide Eddie was a professional and guided us safely up the mountain. It was such a thrill! The jungle was beautiful and the views were nonstop.
