In full transparency right up top, I requested a partial refund for this experience. My refund was rejected without explanation. I’m still going to try to rate and review this as fairly as possible in order to be helpful to other prospective buyers! I bought this experience specifically for the boat trip, to get a different perspective of the Cliffs. When we arrived in the morning, we were informed the weather was too windy for the boat. I understand this - guides can’t control the weather! Some other guest left at this point but I was still looking forward to visiting the cliffs and the rest of the experience so I stayed. My issue is that after that happened, it’s like everything else on the schedule was thrown out the window. We were supposed to have lunch in a town before the Cliffs visit. We instead stopped at a gas station for “snacks and a restroom break” and once we got back on were told we wouldn’t be getting lunch until after the cliffs visit, which was clearly confusing to several people. Then we were told we’d be eating AT the cliffs at a cafe. We wound up not eating lunch until 4PM, and we were dropped at a pub in the middle of nowhere with a very short menu. I have a common food allergy and had we stopped at a town (as listed on the itinerary), I would have had options, both in dining and in cost. We saw the Cliffs, which was cool! But literally any touring company would have gotten us there, so I’m rating this specific experience. Additionally - we arrived back AN HOUR AND A HALF later than we were supposed to. I don’t understand how, with skipping an early lunch, and only taking forty minutes for dinner, we wound up 90 minutes over time? So definitely don’t make any important evening reservations after this one. This is a minor thing I wouldn’t note at all if everything else had gone right, but there was no WiFi option on the bus, which is used as a selling point for the tour. And the guide didn’t seem to know anything about it. I did like the guide, he was kind enough to answer questions about Ireland’s history and it’s clear he’s passionate about that specific aspects. He just wasn’t very communicative about what to expect throughout the day and it left several people confused about what was happening, when. So from my perspective, here’s what they’re selling: - boat tour of Cliffs - lunch before tour in town with “options for everyone” - USB charging on bus - WiFi on bus - tour with knowledgeable driver I got less than half of these things. So I asked for a partial refund (denied). If you’re more laid back than me, and less of a planner, this tour (hosted by Paddy Wagon) might be great for you. If you’re like I am, I can’t recommend this tour for the cost, especially after great experiences with companies like Rabbie’s and others.
Was a amazing sight to see, plus very enjoyable ride with some good knowledge being presented.
The tour was perfect, but as because of poor weather conditions the boat cruise was cancelled there should be any compensation at least with a cup of coffee.
was great, it was a long bus ride but the driver kept us entertained most of the time with history and stories. The boat cruise itself was fun.
He was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire tour. From the moment we met him, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. His driving was safe and smooth, making the whole journey comfortable and stress-free. What really made the experience special was his knowledge, patience, and positive attitude. He shared interesting insights about the places we visited, answered every question with enthusiasm, and always made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Cliffs of Moher Tour ( 23/5/2026) He truly went above and beyond to make the tour memorable, and his kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding tour driver and guide. He made our trip unforgettable!
We had Richard as our driver, he was great!! Very knowledgeable about Ireland and made a few fun stops along the way to make the trip even more enjoyable.
I couldn’t do the trip, because no body was at the fake point of meeting I received , I lost one hour looking for any one to help me, then I went back home. So I need to refund my money.
