Trip cancelled last minute with no explanation

Very disappointed. Our trip was cancelled last minute the night before by the host. There was no explanation offered and no direct contact from the company, just a generic message from Trip Advisor. A message explaining the reason would have been appreciated.

Like driving through a Tuscan Painting and my face hurt...from laughing and smiling!

What an experience! This was the best and definitely a highlight of our week in Tuscany! I was laughing and smiling so much the whole time with my husband and two friends (we also made friends with the other couple on our tour). The cars are just adorable, and there is nothing like driving these little vehicles! So mechanical, rustic, and old school. Of course, you need to be able to drive a manual or double clutch. We had blue Marcello and orange Oswaldo, with the excellent David as our tour guide. David shows a lot of trust in letting folks get behind the wheels of his little fleet, all affectionately named for their personalities. David's English was impeccable, fortunately for us from the US. He was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. His tutorial was thorough and it wasn't nearly as difficult to drive as I feared (my husband and I took turns). The four course winery luncheon we drove to was hearty and lovely. I enjoy eating local food paired with the region's wine -- and thankfully Italian people are so proud to share their traditions and bounty. David answered our many questions and was very pleasant! If you are a bougie tourist who wants a luxury experience with airbags and the latest technology, this isn't for you. If you want a little adrenaline rush from the risk, a step back into older times, and enjoy driving tiny vintage vehicles, with the top open and stunning views, wind in your hair on the way to authentic local wine pairing meal in a family owned vineyard...book now! TIPS: Bring a hat or a scarf for your hair. The pedals are smooth metal, I recommend flat shoes with some grip instead of big heels so you don't slide off or get stuck. (And I always say don't be a tourist trying to turn everything into an American experience, mad that your Italian breakfast didn't have Fruit Loops and lunch wasn't like Olive Garden. Be an educated traveler with an open mind and observe the local way of life and customs, and follow them. When in Rome...)

Cool driving experience but expensive for what you get.

Great experience but expensive for what you get. Driving the car was cool and tour guide (David) was an informative, awesome person who made it great day for us. Just beware, the site says it is a Tram from Florence train station and then 20 min pleasant walk , it was not pleasant at all! You need to walk up a hill, you feel like hiking. Definitely need to take taxi. Also the classic 500 tour is just driving and then stop beside road to take picture and then return, it is not drive/walk through wine garden or something like that as we expected.

Free wheeling in the Tuscan countryside

My partner & I went on this fantastic little Fiat 500 tour of the Chanti Hills. There were four bambina's in our tour group and this made a fun group as we "sped" our way around the Tuscan countryside. Our hosts were great and ensure all the group were safe! We had a ball of a time and laughed all the way! Such a treat to blast around in these little cars! Thanks again.

Great little trip

We loved this experience! Was abit unfortunate there wasn’t a greater group! I really enjoyed how we were lead along with a guide car, but I think more stops for photos would have been cool. Bella was a lovely host.

Beware.. total scam!!!

The worst tour experience we have aver had. Chianti hills fiat 500 tour operators were a no show after taking a taxi ride out to the meeting location. Wasters 100$ on taxis and 4 hours of vacation time to find no one at the meeting location. While looking at reviews after this meeting experience we found this was not the first time. This group should be removed form the list of tour operators Viator uses.

Fun in the Tuscan hills

This tour was a blast. We had a great time touring the countryside in our cute little pink fiat Isabella. Car was easy to drive. We made a few stops along the way. One in a charming little village for coffee and pastries and another for some breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills. I would highly recommend this adventure.
