Description

The exact location is kept as a surprise, with a reserved table giving you time to enjoy food, drinks and a proper countryside pub setting. As with the rest of the day, timing is flexible depending on the group. Guests are welcome to stay longer if they wish, with onward transport options available. Tours are arranged in small groups and confirmed in advance, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience on the day.

Itinerary
Visit the famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop from Clarkson’s Farm. This is the original farm shop seen throughout the series and one of the most recognisable locations from the programme. Guests can take photos of the shop and the well-known signs, and visit the lambing barn area where guests can grab food or drinks from the Baste food van, which serves dishes made using produce from Clarkson’s Farm. The stop is intentionally flexible depending on how busy the farm shop is on the day. When queues are long we normally avoid waiting and instead enjoy the surrounding area and photo opportunities before continuing the tour.
A short countryside walk in the Cotswolds village of Chadlington, closely associated with Clarkson’s Farm and home to Gerald from the series. The walk offers views of the surrounding farmland and locations connected with the programme, with some great photo opportunities along the way. This part of the tour involves a relaxed walk of around 30 minutes before continuing on to the next stop. After leaving Chadlington we briefly stop at another location connected with Clarkson’s Farm that appears in the programme. Guests can step out, take photos and hear how this countryside business connects with the series. The exact location is intentionally kept as a small surprise. es On the way to The Farmer’s Dog we briefly stop for photos at a countryside pub that appears in Clarkson’s Farm. It’s a surprise stop, but fans of the series will likely recognise it when they see it. Guests can step out for a quick photo stop before continuing the journey to The Farmer’s Dog.
Visit The Farmer’s Dog, Jeremy Clarkson’s pub featured in Clarkson’s Farm. This is one of the main stops on the tour where guests can relax, grab food, enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere either inside at the main bar or outside on the enclosed decking. Guests can also browse the Grand Tour Tent, which sells merchandise, food and produce connected with the show. Time here is relaxed depending on the group and the pace of the day.
Travel through the historic Cotswold town of Burford on the way to Hawkstone Brewery. Burford is known for its steep medieval high street, traditional stone buildings and views across the Windrush valley. This is a drive-through location rather than a formal stop, but guests will still see one of the most picturesque towns in the Cotswolds along the way.
A short photo stop in the Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water, often called the “Venice of the Cotswolds” because of the low stone bridges crossing the River Windrush. Guests can stretch their legs, take photos and enjoy views of one of the most picturesque villages in the Cotswolds before continuing the journey towards Hawkstone Brewery.
Visit Hawkstone Brewery, the home of Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone beer featured in Clarkson’s Farm. Guests can take photos of the well-known Clarkson mural and visit the onsite Hawkstone Arms bar. This is a good opportunity to enjoy a drink and stock up on Hawkstone beers or ciders before continuing the tour. This is a good opportunity to enjoy a drink and stock up on Hawkstone beers and ciders before continuing the tour.
We finish the main part of the tour at a traditional Cotswold village pub in the area. The exact location is kept as a surprise and provides a relaxed way to end the day. A table is reserved for the group, allowing guests to enjoy food and drinks together in a classic English pub before the return journey to Moreton-in-Marsh or their accommodation. As with much of the tour, the timing here is flexible depending on the group and the pace of the day. Guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the evening, but transport will depart at the scheduled time. For those who wish to stay longer or leave earlier, private transport can be arranged for an additional fee.
After the final pub stop, we return through the Cotswold countryside to Moreton-in-Marsh railway station. Along the way we pass the well-known Daylesford Organic Farm Shop before arriving back at the station for the end of the tour.

Great tour, highly recommend! Being a local, Simon is a great guide and took us to places that we would NEVER have found on our own. His small group format allows for flexibility and means that you get to see what you want to see and can stay at each location as long as you want. His new Mercedes van is comfortable and delivers you directly to each location. I really liked that Simon is a fan of the show and can provide information about certain locations and which season & episode they appeared. We struggled with should we attempt to visit Clarkson’s Farm on our own or hire a guide, and Simon is definitely the way to go! With Simon at the helm we got to see way more locations than we could possibly have managed on our own.
Wow ….. what a tour that was !!!!!we came all the way from wales wasn’t disappointed at all the tour guide was absolutely fab he was funny chatty and overall a very nice guy huge well done we will deffo be booking again
Simon was a excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Having a very lively character it made the day very enjoyable . He adapted the tour and gave you the choice of how it went, so very flexible. Transport was comfortable and supplied water as the day was 34 degrees and very hot. Would highly recommend and will definitely meet up with him again when we return.
Absolutely fantastic the guide made the tour so funny down to earth guy ,visted so many different place took us to local pubs ,places ,as well as gave us great tour round clarkson pub, shops ,brewery and information and tour on other well known people definitely recommend will absolutely do it again
Absolutely the best tour by a local of Clarksons Farm and the Cotswolds. Simon is an excellent guide and er thoroughly enjoyed our day!
Thank you so much, I'm really pleased you both enjoyed the day. We definitely did more than any other tour could do!
It will be difficult to explain just how blown away I was by this tour! I'm tempted to say that this is the ultimate Clarkson's Farm fan experience, but that wouldn't do it justice because there's also plenty of fascinating Cotswolds history and sightseeing included. There were a couple of times that I couldn't believe my eyes when I watched Caleb drive by in a tractor and Gerald go by in a farm truck. Obviously, everyone can't expect that same experience, but it was amazing all the same. Simon was absolutely fantastic and gave us as much time as we wanted for photos, food, drinks, etc. and never made us feel rushed. Beyond just stopping at the familiar spots from the show, he brought us to some places and introduced us to some people that absolutely blew my mind. I don't want to say too much because that would spoil the surprise. The communication from Simon was top-notch from start to finish, and he made us feel like family. We ended the tour at a local historic pub, and as an American tourist with a life long love of all things English, sitting down to dinner in a proper English pub with a proper Englishman is an experience I can't put a price on and I will never forget. Speaking as someone who has taken food tours, history tours, nature tours, ghost tours, and every other kind of tour all over the US and Europe, I can easily say that this was the greatest tour I have ever taken in my life.
Hi Chris, Thank you so much, that review really made my day. You will definitely have some stories to tell when you get back home. It was an absolute pleasure having you and Nancy along. I had a brilliant day with you both, and I’m very glad you enjoyed it so much. Thank you for taking the time to write something so kind and detailed. It means a lot. You and Nancy are officially part of the Chipping Norton Tours family now, so please do stay in touch. I’d love to see you both again next time you’re over here. All the very best, Simon
