City Tour, the best option for small groups

Javier met us on time and took us on a well planned tour of Montevideo. He has great knowledge of Montevideo history. He was really helpful and courteous. I highly recommend Javier and his tour of Montevideo for cruise ship travellers.

Javier was spectacular! He explained a lot about the area and history. He took us to a wide variety of places and was very accommodating. We liked stopping at the MAM and were able to taste some local beer and cider. He also took a few great pictures of our group. We highly recommend this tour. The tour is a private tour so it was only our family.

Javier was very knowledgeable on the local area. He also knew his country's history, which he expertly shared with us throughout the day.

Our guide, Jorge, was fabulous! He gave us an excellent tour, was friendly and well informed. He gave us as much time in each place as we wished - very accommodating!

Jorge picked us up on time at the cruise terminal. It was clear he loved his City and country and enjoyed sharing the sites with us. Made it clear it was our tour and could be modified as we wished. We saw everything we had read about and enjoyed his commentary and comfortable vehicle. Definitely a great choice for our time in Montevideo.

Javier was so proud of his city so he took us to as many beautiful sites as time allowed. I use a cane and he was so considerate of my disability. We enjoyed the photo opportunity stops along the way along with his explanations about Uruguayan history and their current way of life.

Without a doubt, our tour guide, Javier, was EXCELLENT! Well spoken English, coupled with the knowledge of the rich history of Montevideo made this shore excursion most enjoyable, relaxing and informative. Tour included a brief shopping experience at a beautifully restored rail station mall where prices were very reasonable. Too many sites to mention where visited with either a stop or drive-by. Javier made every effort to accommodate our requests. A note of caution: Several individuals were scammed out of this tour by a rogue website! Ensure you are on the Viator website and use their link when reserving and paying. Enjoy!

We were in Montevideo on 24/02 and we had the pleasure of conducting a city tour with Mr. Javier.
