First off, Huatulco is my new favorite. What a terrific town. Our guide picked us up and took us to beautiful overlooks, beaches, churches. The town is filled with wonderful shops filled with weavers, jewelers, artists. And, again, a wonderful lunch, on the beach, that we requested.
We enjoyed the entire tour! "Santo" Tomas was engaged, very flexible to meet our timetable and requests. Fun guy & knowledgeable! We would definitely recommend Tomas, and not hesitate to tour with him again.
The one outstanding interaction was with a young Mexican English speaking couple who operate a weaving shop. They are knowledgeable about the craft and have spent many years in the hospitality business. The name of the shop is Biulu Telar Artesanal on Macmillan street #304. Go see them for all your hand made weaving needs.
I highly recommend a tour with Tomas. You will learn so much from him about the history, culture, traditions and flora and fauna of the area. And he just lots of fun to be with for a morning or the entire day.
