City Tour of Mendoza
Description
We begin the adventure in the stunning ruins of San Francisco, a vestige full of history that will transport you to the ancient city of Mendoza. We will visit the famous Plaza Independencia, inaugurated in 1863, where you can enjoy its charming satellite squares: San Martín, Spain, Italy and Chile along with the Civic Center, home of the emblematic Banner of the Army of the Andes. Next, marvel at San Martin General Park, the largest green lung in the province that houses the beautiful Rosedal and the peaceful Lake General Espejo. The tour will culminate at Cerro de la Gloria, with its imposing monument to the Liberator Army, a key symbol of Mendoza’s history.

Located in the Civic Center of the Province, the Memorial of the Banner of the Army of the Andes consists of three rooms. In the first, there is the Flag of the Army of the Andes, the maximum symbol of the Liberating Gesta and first independent flag of South America.
The largest green lung in our province that houses the Fountain of Los Continentes, the beautiful Rosedal and the peaceful Lake General Espejo.
The tour will culminate at Cerro de la Gloria, with its imposing monument to the Liberator Army, a key symbol of Mendoza’s history.

The search is carried out only by accommodations within the microcenter of Mendoza City. The pick-up service has a grid that assembles the tour guide knowing all the accommodations you must pass through. So they should be ready at the start time of the tour, knowing that you can have a delay of about 30 to 40 minutes depending on the tour of the service.

Good tour. Our guide, Ana was very good and so was the driver, Matias. Good pacing. I didn’t rated as a 5-star because in our bus there were a couple of locals who they believed they were the tour guide

Carito, our guide, excellent. He informed us extensively about the creation and development of the city. She's very friendly and polite. Very patiently. The ending, at the monument of the hill of Glory, with a historical explanation about the general San Martín and its epic, was very exciting and unforgettable. Thank you, Carito. This a bus tour, with a few spots to walk, take pictures and stretch your legs. Educational but not overwhelming. Easy walking.

Great tour of the city showing us the history and the wonderful squares and fantastic St Martin Park, a true green oasis within the city. Caro our guide spoke wonderful English which we appreciated as we were the only non Spanish speakers in the group and she took the time to explain everything to us. Great morning sightseeing.
