We( two families) came for one week trip to Srilanka. Tangeriene tours is our travel advisor and partner for this trip. Roshan is the one who is allocated as our Driver and Guide for the trip. Roshan is very humble, honest, supportive and well behaving person. He has very good knowledge about the tourist locations and got very good knowledge abt India also which is very helpful for us during our conversations with him. We first went to Bentota, Galle and then Colombo. He showed us few more places extra which are not part of the package/itenary. Very Happy to have him as our Driver and in future also we will strongly go for him in our next visit to Srilanka. We are very happy with the services and support provided by Tangerine tours. Abhilaisni also very support from Tangerine tours. We strongly recommend Roshan for any one who visits Srilanka. Thank you Roshan and Thank you Tangerine tours.
We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for our assistant and driver, Mr. Roshan, who truly made our Sri Lanka trip an unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, Roshan was exceptionally humble, polite, and cooperative. His punctuality was commendable—he was always on time, ensuring that our entire 7-day journey went smoothly without any hassle or delays. Despite already being on a long tour for 10–15 days, he was assigned to us for our trip, and not once did he let that reflect in his service. His energy, dedication, and positive attitude remained consistent throughout. He took us to every sightseeing location and activity with great care, and his guidance helped us make the most of each place we visited. What stood out the most was his genuine nature and warm behavior. By the end of the tour, we didn’t just feel like customers—we felt a personal connection. His kindness and support added an emotional touch to our journey that we will always remember. We are truly grateful to have had Roshan as our driver and assistant, and we highly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka. He is a wonderful person and an excellent professional. Thank you, Roshan, for making our trip so special.
Mr Soneth our driver During our tour, we had a wonderful experience with our driver. He was very punctual and careful while driving. Our holiday was exceptional, thanks to our guide Dissan. He was very helpful and kind. He showed us many interesting places around Sri Lanka. I would greatly recommend Tangerine Tours if you are traveling to Sri Lanka. They are the best.
We booked this company for our 10-day tour in Sri Lanka. We were very fortunate to have been given Mr. Kurt Steyn as our driver. He was punctual, polite & respectful, drove safely, and spoke excellent English. He was also very helpful to my two in-laws who had difficulty getting in and out of the vehicle. Overall, he had a great attitude of wanting to assist us and make our trip enjoyable and we’re very grateful for that. Would happily recommend.
Dana, an upbeat and cheerful driver, exceeded expectations. His extensive knowledge of the country's history and local attractions, coupled with his smooth adaptability to schedule changes, made for a delightful journey. Fluent in Hindi, he enhanced the experience, especially for Indian travelers. I highly recommend him for a seamless and enjoyable trip.
Driver showed up an hour late from Tour starting time of 10 am. Driver was very quiet. Pointed out name of sightseeing location but no history, facts, story or any information. One of worst private tour experiences
1. They took you to force-shopping facilities despite your refusal so they could earn comissions: gem stones, safari, spice garden, Athreya spa... the actual prices are 1/3-1/4 elsewhere. 2. In the middle of trips, owner tell the drivers to drop you if you dont pay extra. OWNER TELLS DRIVER TO INFLATE THE MILEAGE TO ROB YOU (screenshot)!!! They offer cut-throat prices per kilometer.
Tangerine Tours arranged a 14 day road trip all around Sri Lanka. We had Toyota Coaster mini bus pick us up at Colombo Airport and drove us around Negombo, Anuradhapura, Jaffna, Trincomalee (Thirukoneswaram Temple), Habarana (Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Polonnaruwa ancient city, Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, Eco Park – Elephant Safari, Cultural Show), Kandy (Peradeniya Botanical Garden, Temple of Tooth), Nuwara Eliya (Ramboda Falls, Tea Estate, Sita Amman Temple, High Tea at Grand Hotel), Ella (The scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Demodara & Nine Arches Bridge), Yala (Ravana Falls, Kataragama Temple & Yala National Park Safari), Tangalle, Galle and dropped us back at Colombo Airport. Tangerine Tour executive Gayandika helped promptly to prepare our itinerary and accurately customized it to our expectations. He has made all the arrangements to make this a smooth and memorable trip. We drove around with English speaking tour guide Malcolm, who was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable and helpful to us. The driver Nayan is a safe driver who took extra care on the road covering around 2500 Km. We also had a helper Wijesiri take care of us in and out of the bus and then manage the luggage at each destination. Overall, this is a memorable trip that we would highly recommend Tangerine Tours to all interested in visiting the beautiful country Sri Lanka.
The trip was amazing, mainly because of the efforts put in by our guide, who mingled along so well like our brother. There was not even a single issue that’s occurred, the trip went on very smooth and peaceful!
