Rafael was the perfect guide. He spoke flawless English which we appreciated and he made us feel relaxed and welcome to the city of Basel. His knowledge was wide, but also deep. He gave us so many interesting facts - not only about the town, but also about the country of Switzerland. We were grateful he closed the tour with restaurant recommendations close by. Highly recommend!
Professional youth smiling perfect English
Our guide Rafael was outstanding. Very knowledgeable about the city and very very pleasant to talk with.
Thanks a lot, John. It was a pleasure.
Thank you Rafael, It was an entertaining, interesting and very informative city tour. The guide was very competent and could also respond to customer requests and provide information. I learned a lot about the city, the architecture and its former inhabitants. Would recommend the tour to Rafael at any time. Thank you
I appreciated that he followed our walking pace, rather than us having to follow his. Basel is either a really boring city or this tour guide didn't know much to tell. He mostly showed us the outside of buildings, along with the inside of two churches. We didn't learn much about the history of Basel, just that Switzerland has been neutral for hundreds of years (duh!). He helped us find a Swiss restaurant and left us there after 60 minutes of touring.
Thanks for your honest opinion, I usually include more historical information. I wish you a wonderful stay in Europe.
Great overview of Basel. Guide provided very good restaurant recommendations that we enjoyed as well. This was a great start for our short stop in Basel
Professional. Comical. Knowledgeable. Helpful. All describe Raphael & our tour. We learned history & interesting facts. His English was fabulous. Opened our eyes to this beautiful city on our first visit in Basel.
Thanks a lot for your kind words, dear Karen.
