Located in the heart of the capital since this city took its first steps, Plaza Independencia enhances the urban conglomerate of Mendoza with its exquisite design and landscaping.
The House of Government of the Province of Mendoza occupies an imposing building of rationalist style built between 1951 and 1958 that is located in the Civic District, surrounded by a huge park.
The San Martín General Park was designed in 1896 by the architect Carlos Thays, the renowned French landscape painter; it combines the English and French tradition of gardening of the nineteenth century.
In the heart of the historic center of the Old City, on the Plaza Pedro del Castillo, former Plaza de Armas and Plaza Mayor, is the Museum of the Foundational Area, exactly where the Cabildo de Mendoza was years ago.
Formerly called "Cerro del Pilar", it is one of the most privileged viewpoints of the city, and was chosen in 1911 to place the monument, on a rock base that symbolizes the Andean terrain. At the top of this hill stands the monument that commemorates the Crossing of the Army of the Andes under the command of General José de San Martín to free Chile and Peru and consolidate Argentine independence.

Wonderful, all the tours were fantastic, we learned a lot, and we had an experience that was unique, from lunch, tasting and presentation on the way.
We went with driver Ariel and coordinator Rocio! We made stops at all places to take pictures and tour quietly. In colts we ate very rich! The coordinator loved her English!
We had the opportunity to visit three different wineries, and in each we lived unique and memorable experiences. It was a very well organized tour and full of special moments. Lunch was excellent, served inside one of the cellars. The quality of the food was remarkably superior compared to ordinary restaurants outside the vineyard. Everything was delicious and perfectly paired with local wines. The tour was divided into two groups, one in English and one in Spanish, which made everyone enjoy and fully understand the visit. We spent a lot of fun accompanied by friendly people and a very friendly and professional guide. Highly recommended for those who want to know the best of Mendoza wine culture!

Super good explanation of the city, they took us to the most relevant places in the city with super clear and easy to understand explanations. The vineyards were very good and close to the city.
Our guides, Gaston and Dolores, are excellent! Their descriptions and verbal illustration of Mendoza through an oral history, added much to the tour.
