Terrific For Tucson

This was such a meaningful experience. Mike’s knowledge of the history, geography and the people of Tucson is priceless. He enthusiastically responded to my questions. I respect how much he honored the Tohono O’Odham nation and gave attention to the uniqueness of the 5 barrios. He interpreted many Spanish words and signs that deepened my appreciation of Tucson. By the way, Mike speaks fluent German so I am hoping that German visitors will take advantage of this amazing guide. Finally, I am sure that anyone from Tucson as well as visitors would benefit from this opportunity.

Exploring and Enjoying Tucson's Facts, Fun and Food

This tour was one of the best tours I've ever been on. My tour guide was Mike. His indepth knowledge of the history of Tucson, was absolutely fascinating. In addition to the hard cold facts, he had wonderful antidotes about the evolution of Tucson from its Inception through today. He showed me the living history of Tucson from the Mexican, Native American and the American perspective. The included lunch was one of the best highlights. It was the best authentic Mexican food I'd ever eaten.

Hidden jewels of Tucson

This is a most interesting historical and cultural tour where you will learn so much about Tucson that is way more than the usual tourist type information. Mike our guide has amazing knowledge and understanding of the area and shared it generously to bring it all alive.

Wonderful tour!

The tour was exceptional. It combined history with the varied cultures living within Tucson. There was so much that I did not know. It covered architecture, art and sciences. The different neighborhoods, how they came about, and the various styles was covered. The murals alone are worth seeing. Amazing. We ate at the first continuously operated mexican restaurant. In Tucson. It was beyond delicious. The San Xavier Misson was beautiful. Mike explained the architecture and art in great detail. We would never have been able to get that much information from reading the signs or brochures. The discussion about the native american indians, past and present, and the reservation system today was fascinating. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
