Itinerary
English Harbour, Antigua's historic district, is focused on the 15sq. miles of Nelson's Dockyard National Park. Developed as a base for the British Navy in the great age of sail, the harbour served as the headquarters of the fleet of the Leeward Islands during the late 18th century.
At Shirley Heights, are the partially-restored fortifications of the harbour's colonial observation post; the view from Shirley Heights extends out over the harbour and far across the Caribbean to neighboring islands. Shirley Height was named after St Thomas Shirley (1727–1800) Shirley was first Governor of the Leeward Islands in 1781.
Here, visitors can watch an impressive multimedia presentation of Antigua's history. From its initial settlement to independence. Observation decks at Dow's Hill provide another fine view of the harbour. As do the ruined fortifications of Fort Berkeley, located on the far side of the bay. And, reached by a walk around its perimeter.
A glimpse of our history and a drive through the Southern coast of Antigua.
A view on the north eastern side of the island, excellent spot for photo's, a not to be missed site. Over the centuries these powerful foaming breakers have carved out a natural limestone arch called Devil's Bridge and created blowholes through which geysers of spouting surf crashes with spectacular results.
At Betty's Hope, discover the history of Antigua's most famous sugar plantation. With full standing sugar-mills and a museum

Small group. Excellent personal service from our driver. Comfortable vehicle. A great alternative to a beach day.
What an amazing day! Such a comprehensive itinerary, driver/guide Polw (hope I had spelt that correct)for so knowledgeable and friendly. We were met at the cruise terminal, escorted to driver.Definitely recommend
Tumba gave a more than excellent tour. I wish there was another word to describe it. Tumba was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with.
Tumbo was terrific! It turned out to be just the 2 of us. We saw the sugar plantation, devil's bridge, and 4 stops in the National Park (Dows Hill Center, two viewpoints near Shirley"s Heights, and Nelson's Dockyard). Tumbo was full of information on the natural and cultural history of Antigua. We had a great day and highly recommend his tour.
Privattour! Be sure to do it! Tour with all the sights, rainforest and most beautiful beaches. Our driver Sean described everything great and left us plenty of time to explore. Ask for Sean! Anytime again.
We started our tour early and made it to some of the highlights just before the crowds started to arrive. Our tour guide Tumba was amazing, the sites were great and we had just the right amount of time to see all of the sites. We have been to this island before and never seen many of the highlights that this tour took us to.
It is great to hear you had a great time and that Tumba made your time to be an enjoyable experience seeing our island, thank you for your kind comments
We had a wonderful time on our circumnavigate tour. Our guide was Tumba who was fantastic sharing so much history and knowledge of the island. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you so much, that is lovely to know you had a wonderful time, I will share with Tumba he will be beaming, Carl
I had an amazing time touring with Carl today! Carl was very courteous and made sure we were comfortable. I learned so much about the culture of the island and many new facts. I highly recommend booking here at this establishment. 10/10
Hi Guys, Thank you for your review it is great to hear that you enjoyed your time with us and also on our Island, we love sharing gems of knowledge about Antigua, Take care Carl
We got to the meeting point 15 mins early (8:45) to make sure we were at the right spot. I confirmed with a few locals that it was correct. At 9:15 I spoke with one of the wonderful staff at Exotic Antigua - and she phoned the tour operator for me. Carl hadn't realized there was a tour that day. At 9:45 Carl showed up and apologized for the situation. He said he had his guide on the way would be there shortly. He gave our guide $20 for drinks for us to compensate - even though drinks were already supposed to be included, so we were a bit confused by that. Carl said that he expected us to give him a bad review. We both thought this was a strange attempt to try and turn our bad start around. The guide eventually showed up (I wish I could remember his name) and completed a really great tour. The guide had had a full day planned with his family as it was his day off, and he was not expecting to complete a tour. He did a great job in not showing his disappointment. We really enjoyed the island and all of the stops; they include a lot of history about the island. Based on our experience, I think the guide could easily create his own tour company and complete his own tours.
Hi Ashley E, my further apologies to you, rather than create an a story or excuse for what had happend, I explained and apologized when I arrived at the cruise port. The tour comes with some drinks which we prepare the night prior to our tour in a coolbox, the monies I had given to my guide was for him to purchase beverages for the tour during the day. Thank you for you compliments to my guide, all are hand picked and trained to a high standard.
Carl gave a great insight into much of the island and told a lot. It was very relaxed and we were well fed.
Thanks for your kind review, we really love sharing insights and delights of Antigua's rich history. So when our guests have a great time it makes our day. Take care Carl
