An interesting and thought provoking experience. The theater is first rate and the show is quite enjoyable. The visuals are good, the audio is also...and we learned a lot in a fun way. It's definitely worth checking out.

Chongqing 1949 is a mix of play and musical with sensational stage technology. The show is in Chinese, but we receive headphones with English translation, the stage rotates, the auditorium rotates, the performers rappel from the ceiling, and it was an unforgettable experience!! It describes the role of the city in the resistance against the Japanese occupation, intertwined with a family story. Great performers, good voices, a sensational experience!
Wow! Technology and emotion. There is a free audio guide (150 RMB deposit) available only in English. It generally helps to understand what is happening (but that is the only thing I did not find exceptional... they could improve the translation for foreigners).
