The tour was really informative and our guide was excellent. We had 2 young children and he helped keeping them engaged. The boat was immaculate. Lovely way to see the lagoon and learn about aquaculture
The excursion was very interesting and made me discover something different and new that I did not know about Chioggia. Damiano was very clear in his explanations and you can see that he put so much effort and passion into preparing this excursion. I recommend this experience to everyone
We had the pleasure of experiencing a very interesting aquaculture tour today. Damiano is a very personable and knowledgeable person who listens to all our questions and answers them thoroughly. The tour is highly recommended. Thank you, Damiano!
All beautiful. Damiano very competent, nice and prepared. We were very pleased to participate for a couple of hours in the traditions of Chioggia and feel pampered and transported with much attention, respect and regard. Beautiful day to repeat very soon with new experiences. The docking is out of the hustle and bustle of downtown, and even more, this made the experience truly wonderful. Thank you very much indeed.

fantastic tour. we fully enjoyed the boat ride and also our children. fantastic also to see up close the aquaculture of mussels, flies and oysters, as well as learning a lot. Damiano is really good and transmits his passion. if you want to make a gift or spend a moment in company, I recommend this tour
Damiano was a great guide and skilfully navigated us through the lagoon. We have been able to gain many new impressions and acquire knowledge about mussel and oyster farming as well as the complex catch of soft shell crabs. Damiano has answered many questions and is a friendly and humorously refreshing person! A great recommendation for anyone interested in Chioggia's aquacultures and looking for an exceptional tour away from the standard tourist boat trips!
Having visited Venice independently a number of times in the past we opted to explore Chioggia instead of making the 3 hour round trip from our cruise ship to that hyper-touristed city. We’re glad we connected with Damiano who essentially circumnavigated Chioggia and filled us in on the business and techniques of growing and harvesting clams, mussels, and soft shell crabs. From his small boat we saw the facilities that support these activities; it did not hurt that the weather was almost perfect to be on the water. Damiano is very personable and accommodating, so this was time well spent. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone who appreciates “industrial tours” or who wishes to go behind the scenes in a picturesque but real working Italian city.
beautiful experience! We relaxed and at the same time learned a lot of curiosities about shellfish farming.
