Main Statue The 40-meter-tall equestrian statue of Genghis Khan is the largest of its kind in the world. Visitors can take an elevator up into the horse's chest and walk out onto a viewing platform on the horse's head, offering panoramic views of the steppe. ️ Base Museum and Exhibition Halls The base of the statue houses a museum complex, which includes: Exhibits on Bronze Age artifacts, including deer stones and tools. Displays of Mongol Empire history, Genghis Khan's life, and traditional weaponry. A replica of a 13th-century ger (yurt) with royal decorations. Cultural Activities Traditional Mongolian costume rentals for photos. Eagle handling experience—visitors can take pictures holding a golden eagle. Souvenir shops selling handmade Mongolian goods and crafts.
Turtle Rock (Melkhii Khad) This 24-meter-high granite formation resembles a turtle and is a popular photo spot. According to local legend, treasures were hidden here during the 1600s, and it's considered a symbol of good fortune.

Had a great time on the Chinggis Khaan Statue and Turtle Rock tour. The statue is massive and really impressive up close, with a cool museum underneath and amazing views from the top. Turtle Rock was peaceful and beautiful, perfect for a short walk and great photos. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Mongolian history and culture. Answered all our questions and even helped us grab some great local food along the way. Definitely recommend this tour if you’re visiting Mongolia !
