Your local friendly guide and the driver will pick you up at your place in Guangzhou and take a 1 hour ride head for Shunde. Upon arrival, start to explore the stunning Qinghui garden with your guide. Explore different sections of the garden and immerse yourself in the amazing classic ancient garden dotted with beautiful flowers, lush greens, clear ponds, lakes, elegant rockers, exquisite carvings, bridges that blend with spectacular Ming and Qing dynasty architecture. Next head to a local nice restaurant, savor a wonderful local lunch with the recommendations from your guide, sample some of the local famed dim-sum or other popular delicacies based on your own dietary requests. I didnt find the Water Village worth my time! The boat canal ride was over dirty waters and there was nothing much to see in the Village!
We believe this traveller posted her review at the wrong place, we are private tour providers but we did not received this traveler for our tour, obviously this review is her opinion for water village itself and not for our private tour service, also there are many water villages in China, this traveler may visited a different one, not the water village that we offer to take traveller to visit in our tour in Guangzhou. It was a very interesting and well guided trip. I have been to Guangzhou many times but this was the first time we travel outside. Although the weather was very hot the well experienced tour guide did his best by explaining all the interesting history especially of the water village. We had a wonderful time. Zack is a very considerate and caring guide who puts the wellbeing of customers as a priority. Due to sudden illness, a last minute change had to be made to postpone our tour to the following day. He was very gracious about the late change and showed more concern for the customer despite this causing him much inconvenience. The water village at Shunde was an interesting outing. The place was charming and relatively quiet, with many opportunities to try Shunde delicacies and tidbits.

Qinghui garden was beautiful & interesting. It has so many pavilions and different sections and we were glad to have our guide Zack with us to walk us through the garden and explain the history. After the garden we went to Feng Jian Canal Village. A very beautiful & nostalgic village with lots of shops selling local delicacies like their double skin milk, steamed pig & fish skin. There were many snacks shop too. Zack brought us on a walking tour through the village for over 2 hours. He is an excellent guide with good local knowledge and a very thoughtful person. Spoke good English too. Enjoyable day at Shunde.
