Thanks to the company and the guidance of Ilse and Alex, my family and I had an unforgettable day. We visited a cenote, an indigenous cultural destination, Chichen Itza, and Valladolid. We learned history and had a great time. I hope to return for a tour with them in the future, and I recommend it 100%.
We took this tour on our first day of vacation in the Mexican Caribbean. They came to pick us up in the morning and took us to the cenote where we could swim for an hour. Afterward, we went to the Mayan reserve where we had a ceremony with a shaman and enjoyed the Mayan artworks made of obsidian. We had an included buffet and a tequila tasting. We continued the day towards Chichén Itzá. It was incredible to see it with our own eyes. We ended the day in the charming city of Valladolid. We learned a lot about the Mayans thanks to our guide Rafa! Everything was amazing, and I would recommend it.
The tour itself was good, Elda was very knowledgable around Chichen Itza itself and across the day. Rafa was very entertaining on the coach rides around. Enrique was helpful in terms of keeping the coach cool and did the curtains up at the long stops. The second stop seemed to last a long time, and the food was bordering on inedible at lunch. The cold food was warm and the warm food was cold, and not fancying travellers diarrhoea very little appealed. A long day but good value for money, just factor in the cost of Imodium if you do decide to have lunch.
Excellent tour, very cheerful and kind, Rafael and Elda are excellent guides with good information, and Mr. Enrique made the trip very comfortable and quick.
Excellent tour. Guide Rafael and driver Hernan were spectacular! Totally recommendable.
Really enjoyable trip. Fred our guide was very knowledgeable. Take plenty of cash (pesos preferred everywhere) with you for tips, drinks, snacks, locker hire, towel hire, wet suit hire (required at the cenote even if you don’t swim)and there are a few places for local souvenir shopping, and of course a photo with a Mayan warrior, a Mayan birth certificate, Tequila tasting, Mayan blessing and more snacks and drinks. We had a long hot but really enjoyable and informative day. Fred as a tour guide was great and the tour company was good, communication good and you can even pay on the day if you’re worried about being scammed (cash preferred). There’s plenty of free time at Chichen Itza to get all the photos you want and Fred really helped us understand what everything is and the rituals, plus how it was restored and what it originally looked like. All done with a friendly driver and an air conditioned bus. Thanks for an enjoyable trip.
Freddy was so knowledgeable, friendly and amazing. This experience was one to remember! We had the best time!
This was such a great experience, everything was well worth it. The whole tour was about 12 hours long but that is time well spent. We got to see two cenotes - one underground and one above ground, and even had the chance to swim in the underground one. We also had a chance to experience a Mayan ritual and hear the language which is definitely unique and interesting from multiple perspectives - culturally and historically. I think the highlight for many others and myself was definitely the visit to Chichen Itza. It is such a beautiful piece of history and well worth its spot as one of the 7 wonders of the new world. Throughout the whole tour, our guide Ilse was very informative, outstanding, and the best guide anyone could ask for in this tour. In addition to Ilse, our driver Eric got us everywhere promptly and safely. Bravo to the whole team for making this experience one to remember for me and my family’s first time in Mexico.
He explained history, culture and himself in detail. They were flexible in responding to our requests.
