Martina was an outstanding private guide, and the pairing with our dedicated driver made the whole day run smoothly. She clearly knew her wine - the details on winemaking were excellent - but she didn't stop there, weaving in Tuscan history, art, and culture throughout the drive, and pointing out castle views well off the typical tourist route. Lunch at La Cantinetta di Rignana was a real treat - a relaxed, beautiful setting with excellent food. The standout stop, though, was Le Lame Estate and the vineyard. It's essentially a one-man operation: he grows the grapes, makes the wine, and bottles it himself. Meeting someone with that level of skill and dedication, and tasting what he produces, was the most memorable part of the trip.If you want a private Tuscany day that goes beyond the standard winery circuit, this is the one to book.
I was on my honeymoon with no English skills, so I signed up for a guided tour just because I wanted to see my favorite wine region with my own eyes. We met Martina, a guide who loves Chianti Classico wine, and although it was difficult for us who couldn't speak English, we used the papago translator to tour the entire Chianti Classico region and tell interesting wine stories, giving us a very happy day. Martina is also said to be the first Korean our couple met. Even if you don't know wine, I think it will be a day where you can see beautiful scenery outside the big city. I would like to recommend it to those who want to see the beautiful scenery of Chianti Classico.
It was very impressive. Hospitality quality, elite environment were so impressive too. Building was unique. Definitely, worth to visit. We got Viator private tour. And we want to thank you our guida Miss. Martina.
What a beautiful experience! I highly recommend. You will have a private driver and tour guide who will quickly and safely take you from Florence into wine country. Our tour guide- Martina - had a wealth of knowledge about wine, food, and Florence history and culture. Plus, she customized the experience to our level of knowledge of wine and Italy so we could truly appreciate what we were seeing and tasting. We will be back!
A memorable tour to say the least. Our guide, Lavinia, is extremely knowledgeable and a subject matter expert in the Tuscany area and their vineyards. She is a Sommelier by education and she was born and raised in Tuscany. She has many years of experience in the Travel/Tourism industry and this was reflected in her presentations and explanations of the area and its history. Not enough can be said about her professionalism, knowledge and understanding of the Tuscan/Italian heritage. The highest compliment that can be paid to any individual that is successful at their profession is to recommend them. I would ask for her by name if you book this tour. I guarantee you will want to book the tour again with her because there wasn't enough time to answer all of your questions. Jim and Linda Dionne Walpole, Massachusetts April 2023
